No problem. Nonstop illumination of reverse lights could indicate several potential issues: Faulty Switch or Sensor: The switch or sensor that triggers the reverse lights when the vehicle is in reverse gear may be stuck or malfunctioning, causing the lights to stay on continuously. Short Circuit: A short circuit in the wiring or electrical system could be causing power to bypass the switch and continuously power the reverse lights. Faulty Bulb or Socket: If one of the bulbs or sockets for the reverse lights is damaged or malfunctioning, it could cause the lights to stay on even when the vehicle is not in reverse. Faulty Transmission Position Sensor: In some vehicles, the transmission position sensor may be responsible for signaling the reverse lights to turn on. If this sensor is faulty or misaligned, it could cause the lights to stay on. Water Damage: Water infiltration into the reverse light housing or wiring could cause a short circuit or corrosion, leading to continuous illumination of the lights. Hope this helps. Is there a specific type of clip for the trunk lining of the mazda 3? My bf has a 2008 mazda 3 and i was trying to get the trunk break light out so i could see what bulb i need and i lost a few of the retainers and idk what to search when looking for them. Pls and thank you!!!

I have replaced some of mine as well. You can Google this, 2008 Mazda 3 Trunk Lining Push Type Retainers and find them. I ordered mine from Amazon, and got a large quantity of clips for the car for extremely cheap. Hope this helps, Thanks for watching

Faulty Brake Light Switch: The brake light switch, which is usually located near the brake pedal, activates the brake lights when you press the brake pedal. If the switch is malfunctioning or misaligned, it can prevent the brake lights from working. Blown Fuse: Check the fuse box for a blown brake light fuse. If the fuse is blown, it will need to be replaced. Wiring Issues: Examine the wiring leading to the brake lights for any damage, breaks, or loose connections. Damaged wiring can disrupt the electrical flow to the brake lights. Faulty Turn Signal Switch: In some cases, a malfunctioning turn signal switch can affect the brake lights since the brake light circuit runs through the turn signal switch. Brake Light Module: Some vehicles have a brake light module that controls the operation of the brake lights. If this module fails, it can lead to non-functioning brake lights. @@TrentMcNaryThe 2008 Mazda 3 has two locations for fuses. The first set of fuses is located in the engine bay. The second set of fuses is in the cabin above the passenger footwell, right underneath the dash. The brake light fuses are located in the cabin fuse box.

Hello! For non working lights, I would check fuses first, both under the hood and in the interior. Bulbs could be the most probable cause. Check to see if your vehicle has a parking light relay under the hood. Lastly, and if possible, I would inspect the wiring for any nicks or cuts.

Check to see if the bulb is good, then the next step is to check the light socket itself, then I'd check wiring. Brake light problems can include a socket whose connections are dirty or corroded or one whose wiring has become worn to the point where it's only making an intermittent connection.

It could be a few things: -Problems with the brake light switch -Issues with the brake light switch circuit - usually a ground -Brake light bulbs that have burned out -Brake light socket has gone bad or are corroded -Defective turn signal switch
