The compressor could also have a blown head gasket or broken piston which will cause oil trips

Can you explain how to bitter oil safety controls works I don’t see how it can check for differential because it’s not like the sentronic where it can see differential

When there is 7 to 9 pounds difference between the suction and the oil pressure, it trips a switch which starts the trip out countdown. I'm not a designer of controls, that's all I know about it.

this looks like the crap you would find when changing oil in low temp R22 systems.burnt black and very acidic.we used to change the oil on racks with R22 quite often.not as much on med temp units.got make inlet screen gets cleaned each time the oil iss done.

That's exactly what we run into with the low temp R22, but now we are switching over to CO2 racks, R448a and who knows what else.

@@dexterfleetwood3138 when i startedd in the trade there were 3 rrfrigerants.R12,R22,R502.now there s a new refrigerant every week it seems.
