Good job on this video! You got it apart without breaking any of those brittle, junk fasteners. Your results are impeccable. 👍

My throttle either goes full blast or off. I used to be able to idle it low as i push throttle towards turtle but now its either off or full blast. Can anyone let me know whats going on.????????

What make is that engine? Looks like a Chinese made?? Good video, enjoyed it.

Troybuilt does their own engine. They don't use a Briggs and Stratton.

it's a troybilt made Honda clone. They probably just contract out some Chinese plant to make it for them.

Those are Chinese engines

@@DKSE123 One is on my work bench. Definitely, a Chinese manufactured, Power More engine. They have inferior metals and stolen design. Good enough to cause downtime, across the world.

all snowblower engines are made in China.

Ever notice troy bilt snow blowers are never rated as top sellers, it's because they are junk, troy bilt does not stand behind their product either, I got mine brand new and it don't work from day one , warranty is for limited parts, don't buy troy bilt!

No way..... what may take you 15 or 20 minutes would take me all day, plus the trips to the store to buy parts I ruined.

Mine starts but when switch to run, the engine dies. Is this still carburetor issue?
@markvandenbrande84502 жыл бұрын
Yes.carb/gas line possibly has debris in it,not getting enough fuel to run properly.

The in-tank gas filter can be clogged. They, also, have a magnet inside the tank to catch debris. It's located near the filter. The carburetors are so cheap that I usually replace them, when they are plugged up beyond just the main - jet, in the bowl.
