Truck 74, Paramedic B-74 MVC with 4 patients

Күн бұрынTruck 74-4 and EMS respond for a two vehicle MVC on the Delaware side. Delmar Police lead the way through town as multiple emergency vehicles respond to the call. Four trauma patients are transported by 4 ambulances. This is a long video because it includes most of the transport from the scene to hospital. Thanks for watching and Merry Christmas!

Since delmar is volunteer do the firefighters stay at home and respond to the station in pov’s when there is a call or do they stay at the station?

They respond from home.

@@theodorekish8606 Career stay in the firehouse. The shifts are 24 hours mostly, some are 12 hours.

It helps the Engineer judge proper positioning of the ladder when extending it.

It also serves as a pretty good guide for how far the ladder is from the front of the truck when taking a turn or maneuvering in a tight area

The Rescue is OOS (Out Of Service) long term. We should have a rescue back in service in 12-18 months.

@@nolanbrown6894 It was involved in a collision in July. Final assessment is still pending, but possibly it will be a partial rebuild, same rescue box on a new chassis and new cab.
