Does it lock and unlock with the keycode keypad on the F-150? Or do you have to use the remote specifically

Did you have to remove the bed grab handle for the install? I saw that this one didn’t have it installed.

How does the retracting feel compared to the Retrax? I didn't see it specifically mentioned on their website, but does this have the ball bearings that Retrax does?
