Just come accriss Trucktech and this podcast. I work mainly on heavy plant in DRCongo central africa. But have worked and do work on trucks. Im 56yr old and absolutely love diagnosing CAN faults etc. As well as hydraulic. We Jaltest here and also Launch for light vehicles. Mercedes and Volvo trucks are popular in Africa. Also Volvo construction equipment and Bell trucks which run Mercedes engines. Really enjoy truck tech diagnostic videos and we try to teach diagnostic troubleshooting to our mational mechanics, which here dont have the formal training as the western world has. But its great when the guys understand and start finding faults and fixing them

Russ is real diagnostics. He find the exact problem with measurements and tests. I like people who don’t buy parts just to try fixing something.

I get the feeling my 2012 DAF Euro 5 was a nice cut of point before things have really got super technical . I’ve managed to do all the repairs & Service my self for the life of the truck just get the diagnose from Daf then start working out the best way to fix myself or not which now has just been made lot better with watching & now joining Russ members site 👌🏼 down here in Australia Sydney the average owner driver couldn’t afford to pay DAF for repairs & we so rip off with parts one example is two sway bar bushes. are £16 here $250 dollars =£130 😂
