People I know often ask me what he’s actually like as a person and I never understand why, what you see is what you get, I always tell them, he had no reason to speak to us again after we hijacked him at truckshow one time but 3-4 years on literally feel we are cut from the same cloth. Couldn’t find you a more genuine and down to earth guy and the family and friends I’ve gained through that is irreplaceable… Christ one of them even has my initials tattooed on their wrist 🤙🏼

He might no how to drive a truck but when it comes to running a business he’s clueless! Goes the most expensive way possible to Italy and back it’s comical! Brags that his tackle is the dogs bollocks but shit scared to enter Swiss with it

You need to get hold of Sherralin Ballard. She is on youtube. Lorry diaries is her channels. She been in T&D magazine and on the telly many years ago. (Can't remember what the show was called lol) but she has been a HGV driver for many years. Way before all this onlyfans drivers

That's why their roads are better ! It wouldn't cost much to implement UK Tolls compared to other countries due to our Geography . HGV Toll booths at all ports !! £500 quid to go any where in UK ! That would bring in 'Billions' every year. (Might fill a few pot holes or build bigger 'Services' parking for Trucks !!
@joebloggs8422
@joebloggs8422 28 күн бұрын
They would never implement that, foreign drivers and trucks are the only thing keeping the country going, there’s such a shortage of professional drivers that they need foreign trucks to get things done. Some European companies have fleets based here, no taxes at all

As a hgv driver in the UK with 14 years of experience, i refused to do that job anymore because of the greed of companies and zero hours contracts from slave owners aka agencies. To drive a 44 tones artic for 14.5£ / hour, sleeping in 2m in dangerous car parks and with a load that you need to protect nowadays? Neahhh, i better work on a factory for the same money, less stress, less hassle and i know when i go home.

Only it doesn’t help the end consumer, just makes life even more expensive than it already is. It’d be nice if these costs were coming out of the profits and bonuses of management… But they never are. The reason roads are ruined is because Road Tax was scrapped. Now we have a “Peasant Tax” in its place. Electric vehicles, which cause more damage to road surfaces, and new vehicles are exempt… While the person who can’t afford a new £40k car, has to pay for the privilege of private transportation.

@@dorintamas7286 Spot on!!! I’m lucky to work for a company that pays decent wages, some of these companies want to pay drivers minimum wage and they bitch about a shortage of professional drivers, there isn’t a driver shortage there’s a shortage of companies that pay drivers decent wage

He’s right. It’s not just truckers. It’s every job. The skill goes down because most companies don’t wanna pay for their employees to learn additional skills. So gradually over time, the skill lvl of the labor force reduces to role specific skill ceiling. That’s it. Hard stop. 🤷🏼‍♂️
