Noob Trucker in the UK, bringing other new drivers the heads up on what its really like as a new driver. On the subject of either leaving your card in the tacho at the end of shift or removing it I always left it inserted and on break but one time I got up in the middle of the night and as I did I must have touched the mode button on the tacho and switched the mode off rest so from then on I began removing it but I've never had any problems when stopped with either way it's done

Another good video Jay. Pity you were not parked near a takeaway you could have tried a Parmo lol Middlesbrough special ( a chicken Brest butterflied and stuffed with your choice and covered with melted cheese. I guarantee you would not have slept that night lol.

As a trailer fitter myself wev not anything like it but we deal.with cartwright trailers alot an most of ours trailer we get are royalmail they have a rubber banned on the wheel markers to stop them moving out of position it's shocking how that trailer tyre was like that fair play to you for getting them checked but it'll most likely it had some work on the trailer brakes or like you've mentioned a lazy tyre fitter which too me is a shocker as they should know better if so but its a straight mot failure

Your Sat nav may be crashing because you still have the plastic film on the screen mate - the screen overheats (on Tom Toms anyway) so could be the problem you are having

That other Maxi driver had a proper North Walian accent!!! Do you have many drivers at Maxi from North Wales? I heard a lot of drivers from there do tramping for North West firms as the money is better than local work. I'm originally from North Wales hence the interest.

They tried putting those stupid plastic arrow wheel nut things on my truck and trailer so I pulled them off and threw them all over the fence . They made my high polish duro bright wheels look shit .

I once witnessed John Marsh rag his office door off its hinges and fly out of his office straight into the yard where there was a driver doing the same as why you did to build up the air instead of waiting. He opened the cab door, removed the keys from the ignition and told the driver to get the feck off his land and never come back, you’re fecking fired! Funny times back in the good old days

wow trucker Jay in the UK you went from london to chelsmford then to braintree then to colchester thought to Ipswich wow that is a long way around why not go up the M11 towards cambridge then to Middlesbrough that way

So usually us tyre fitters do this to let the next driver know the wheel has been off so if required he can get it re torqued

You could have pre warned you were going Dementia cash and carry in Barking. The amount of times my firm f’d it off because I was gonna be there too long, meaning backing straight back out. Glad too see the back of that s hole
