I've been playing this game the whole afternoon and holy crap is it good. I love the way the story progresses and you don't just immediately jump into the next areas. Each area has it's own set of quests and events that work really well together. The cutscenes and basically just every quest I've done sofar just feels like an actual experience instead of just - Go to place, kill this, pick up this etc. Each quest has a flow to it and progressing and getting a new gun or making money feels great. The new landscape and soundscape is super immersive and the gunplay is really satisfying, like REALLY satisfying. For example guns feel like you would expect them to. Pistols are weak but if you use them right can help you in a pinch. Shotguns feel powerful and can launch a gopnik 😂. Rifles feel like assoult weapons and omg the snipers just plant dudes. There is also a good balance in the economy like the amount of money you make compared to how much ammo you can buy with it all just works. The interface is simple and easy to use and I really dont mind not having a PDA style menu. I also love that your personal stashes are synced, it really makes it so much easier to dump loot unlike in anomaly where I'd have to walk far to my main stash to offload stuff I want to keep. I really found my new daily game. I just can't believe this game is free, its much better than most AAA games

anyone know if there's a way to quick loot or trasfer all without clicking the bit at the bottom? I feel spoiled by the ability to drag my cursor over items to transfer in Gamma.

You're fine, dont worry. I believe I said it in the video around 2:09. But just to clarify, download the files into a folder and drive of your choosing, and make sure both the exe file and bin files are in that folder. Click on the exe, and it should install from there.

I honestly had some fun with this for the first 30 hours on the hardest difficulty... But I absolutely hated the railroading. It wouldn't let me outright kill the Bandit Leader, even though I know by that point that I can solo the base with skill and my trusty shotgun alone. A fact that would soon be proven when I returned to Dark Valley and their essential flags were turned off. You're scripted to be knocked out constantly even when you're in a fully upgraded exosuit up against Bandits in trenchcoats and just old AK-74s. And you're forced to make stupid rookie Stalker mistakes even though you're a seasoned Stalker. Enjoyment gradually became dissatisfaction as I just wanted it to stop. Then I realized that they made this like a modern Bethesda game... It did get me to try Radiophobia 3 though. It may still be Shadow of Chernobyl, but THAT is a true Stalker experience.

Sadly not off the top of my head. Just re-install, and make sure all the bin files are in the same folder as the exe file when installing.

I have a problem with this mod and need help. When I trye to leave the cordon map despite finishing all quests from Sidorovich I get the massage the the PASSAGE IS BLOCKED. What should I do?

I'm not sure since I'm not one of the mod developers, and since this is brand new, not a lot of fixes have shown up. Did you download the latest patch fixes?

Check your current "story quest" objective. This mod is Chapter based rather than open-world, so game wouldnt let you to travel next loaction until story lets you. Also, there's initially only one passage to Garbage, the central one, west passage would be unlocked later from Garbage. Agroprom and Dark Valley are chapters 3-4 i think and Swamps aren't in the mod

This is a weird error. My game won't start at all, even though I disabled my virus protector. tried multiple times, playing sound in the background, but nothing works. just keeps saying openal can't create Even got the game updated

Can you dodge pseudogiant pseudostomps like you can in ShoC? Can you aim any and/or all types of grenade launchers? Are there super long-jumping "man-eating" snorks? Is there a debug mode or spawn menu (great for creating Zone Sportsmanship Challenges)? Did they overdo it with Wick flick reload animations and/or the Center Axis Relock shooting technique (aka "the Wick tilt")? Do any of the reload animations depict an "emergency" reload in place of a "tactical" reload? Are there functional vehicles? And is there a gameplay mode that lets you play as a fleshy piggy fleshpig that can smell with its eyeballs a go go?! 🙃

Theres a lot of other really cool story mods, but those are more janky and, i think, most of them are missing english translation. Anyways, check for Spatial Anomaly, Winds of Time and. i guess, Return to Zone (but i dont sure if the last one has any translations).

@@SpikeVike27 GoldSphere is also a good one to check out very unique story/atmosphere as it is based around the early years of the zone before it was filled with humans and just as stalkers were becoming a thing it also has a full human made translation.

The mod looks cool from what I can see here, but the thing that really ruins it for me are the playdough hands, I wonder if there's an addon that changes that, or if they will change them in the future, the hands just look so bad they'd take away from the immersion pretty badly.

@@bluetherobot I checked the Epic Games Store in Stalker 2 and has 150GB (one-hundred and fifty gigabytes) of content which is overkill and most amount memory consuming from Unreal Engine 5.3.2 as this is the latest version of UE 5.

There are co-op Stalker mods, but this one no. Haven't tried the co-op mods either, so don't really know about them.

i think its the best stalker lot of people say losyt alpha and gamma but to be honest they felt disjointed and a mess but this is something new and i think is better then the orginanl shadow of chernobyl and is definetly the best mod of stalker ive played and ive played them all it has annoyances like all the stalker games and you die a lot in this game so im not sure if it makes a difference what difficulty you play at but its alright and a solid 7/10

Depends on personal taste. I see it like this. Gamma is for hardcore survival, EFP for guns and firefights, and True Stalker for a more old school updated feel

I wish. But not sure, due to not knowing more about Gunslinger. I believe it's based off Call of Pripyat weapons, so AK-12 was not originally in that game.

It was interesting and challenging at first, but numerous cut-scenes, along with all the running around, got tiresome. It needed fast-travel and a less linear more 'stalker-ish' gameplay.

Honestly it's not bad until you get to the point where you get knocked out almost every few seconds because the story writers suck ass at making a decent story. Seriously it got annoying at one point where I was seriously thinking about dropping the game.

It's a story mod. Handcrafted quests, fully fledged characthers, scripted events etc. GAMMA is an open world milsim oriented sandbox, True Stalker is way closer to original Trilogy (a mix of SoC and CoP imo)

Spoiler!!! This Mod is really good but the Story is pretty meh, especially when you switch characters and see axe dead. They tried to make a modern take on the Stalker formula with cutscenes and all that but it pretty much boils down to. Getting knocked out to progress the story, useless cutscenes that have no sense and the faction that never gets explained with an antagonist that has plot armor and an useless ending. Still would recommend it to hard boiled stalker fans

Honestly, one of the most boring mods I've ever played. Even the OP 2.1 (United Pack 2.1) is way better in terms of quests and gameplay (at least before all that invisible stash crap starts). And that is not a particularly high bar. NLC-7, Dead air, Anomaly, Lost Alpha, and many other mods offer better content, and much more of it. I guess, this is what happens when a blogger decides, that he can be a good screenwriter and a voice actor, while being under the influence of the Game of Thrones (I'm not kidding, he said it himself). Let's hope, that a more talented modder will put all these reworked game levels to good use.

Sometimes I think the Google drive gets to many downloads, so just give it another try. Also, maybe try another browser. If not, I'm gonna see if I can have a way to get others to download somewhere else.
