How come it wasn't an infield fly rule in the 7th?

Have to be two runners on for infield fly to apply. Here the fielding team does not get an advantage because they should not be able to turn a double play. As we saw, the batter Rizzo was already standing on first base. The most they can do is swap runners.

Sadly the Yankees were not going to get past Houston unless the offense caught fire and it was more like the opposite. Just flaccid and barely competitive at all.

Hey Aaron Boone! ARE YOU CRAZY?!?!?!? Why are you batting JOSH DONALDSON 5th, in the middle of the lineup, in the ALCS? He strikes out all the time with men on base because he has a HORRIBLE SWING, and he can't catch up to fastballs!!! Why can't you, and your STUPID analytics department, see that?!?!? You got away with it against the Guardians, but you DEFINITELY WON'T get away with it against the Astros. If you still want him in for his defense, you can't bat him any higher than 8th!!! Also, IKF should NOT be playing in the ALCS because he makes too many BIG ERRORS, and he can't hit, especially with men on base! PUT OSWALD PERAZA in at Shortstop, and let him bat 7th, behind BADER (5th) and CARPENTER (6th). Peraza is a much better hitter than Donaldson, and he puts the ball in play. Then bat Donaldson 8th (or DON'T play him at all) and Trevino 9th. Also, the guys on this team have to either learn how to ADJUST THEIR SWINGS to hit low and away sliders, and slow curve balls, OR STOP SWINGING AT THEM!!! EVERY TEAM IN BASEBALL knows that's how to get the Yankees out, and THEY ALL use the same approach. It's that obvious. Hey Boone, PLEASE, STOP BEING STUBBORN, and make some line-up adjustments, or you will LOSE this series in either 4 or 5 games!!! - A Frustrated Yankees Fan
