8 жыл бұрынEarlier this week a mob of Donald Trump supporters pushed and threw out a young African-American girl from a rally. It was a very disturbing scene. There are now new developments. Cenk Uygur, John Iadarola (ThinkTank), and Jimmy Dore (The Jimmy Dore Show), hosts of the The Young Turks, break it down. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.
"White supremacists and other Donald Trump supporters could face charges for altercations that broke out during a Kentucky campaign rally - but so could protesters.
Video showed a white nationalist leader shoving and screaming at a black woman who protested the Republican presidential candidate’s rally Tuesday at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville.
Matthew Heimbach, head of the Traditionalist Youth Network,admits he was involved in an altercation with a black woman who he said was screaming obscenities and creating a disturbance, but he denied the woman’s claims that he used racial slurs.
One of the protesters, Henry Brousseau, filed a police report alleging that he was punched in the stomach by a woman in Heimbach’s group for shouting “Black Lives Matter,” reported the Courier-Journal.”*

+collin corbean Its not really about the fact they kicked out a black person...I think its really about the fact the assault she received from the Trump supporters and how the people pushing her out were allowing this Trump douche to assault her and screaming in her face. Her getting pushed out to me wasn't the problem because that's how they were handling everyone. I didn't care for them man handling anybody white/Black don't matter, but that isn't really the issue of this video. I hope this made sense.

The Marine was pushing the girl out. I noticed that the Turks didn't mention anything about the white guys getting tossed. Would the people protesting feel the same if someone protested their kids graduation or birthday party or church service or court hearing or even a concert. People get tossed for being disruptive and unwelcome.

When I enlisted, there was no "PC culture" in the Marine Corps. However, I vividly remember our racial discrimination class. Our company commander stood in front of us and asked us to shout out examples of racial slurs for every race. He then told us that it was the last time any of us got to say anything like that because it didn't matter what color our skin was, what mattered was the uniform we all volunteered to wear. Normalization of racism could destroy the foundation of our military

Falcon Storm I served in the marine corps from 2007 to 2015 and racial, misogynistic, and gay jokes were kind of the norm. It kind of is normalized. I remember back in 29 palms our company commander asked everyone who was not in favor of repealing don't ask don't told and most people were against it. When i went to a reserve unit in 2010, there were 3 openly gay marines and everyone got along. I digress, but the point I'm trying to make is that times change and people come more accepting over time. Sure you're going to hear some racial jokes, gay jokes, and other vulgarities, bit at the end of the day we are all marines and go to the strip club together.

my sister is Military. She will never move back to our town because of the hate and racial division. She says in the military, all cultures and races intermingle and their kids play with each other, they marry each other. She said, when you're surviving together, there is no race. we all bleed Red. She said we their race was RedWhite&Blue, not Black, Not White, Not Asian, Not Hispanic. She goes, "we celebrate each other's differences, we have cook outs and learn each other's cultures. I'll never move back that stupid racist city. You guys are backwards and your world is not THE world."--she only comes home to visit and on holidays.

He makes them feel like it's ok to be violent and hateful and that if he says it's ok, then it's ok. He's directing their anger at other races and cultures because he knows that people will believe him since a lot of them don't do their own research and get their information from the media. He gives them a safety net of feeling unstoppable and above the law and in charge of their own justice by telling them he will pay their legal fees if they hurt someone. They think he has their back and is really looking out for them. They are vulnerable, unstable, angry, hateful and it's getting fueled and they like it. They like that they can openly hate and slur and hurt and not have any consequences and they really honestly believe he is honest and loves America and will fix everything...probably by another attempt at segregation because that's when a lot of old white people felt America was the best because the economy hadn't been fucked up yet. They are just blaming ethnics instead of big money in politics. that's my theory anyway.

Trump has admitted to impeachable obstruction of justice both on Twitter and on live Tv and proceedings haven't been filed. The next elections are being rigged as we speak by Trumps election integrity commission. (I just read that the states actually managed to obstruct and sue that particular peice of the facist puzzle out of existence for now.) America has been a closet oligarchy/kleptocracy for decades. Trump and his administration are inserting more authoritarian and ethnonationalist exclusionary ideals into the overton window.

+Aaron Palasek Who was that old guy behind the woman pushing her? It looked like he was wearing an American Legion uniform, much to his shame. Members of Service organizations like the Legion, VFW, DAV and others are NOT supposed to go to political rallies in uniform or wearing their hats. I praise the USMC for booting out the guy they detected. I'd like to see the Service Organizations root this old guy out and at least reprimand him . Every time he pushed that woman I was ashamed. If I can find out what organization he belongs to I'll drop my membership if he doesn't get disciplined.

Kicking people out of public events because they do not support you is the most anti-thesis to what a democracy stands for. No matter what they say about these being "private" events. It's a rally that is meant for the public to attend. It's no longer private. Imagine when Trump is the President at the White House press conference? +Jason Luong You have a video to prove this? What I meant was that it is illegal for anyone to disrupt an official government event. If a person under Secret Service protection is present, it is considered an official government event. Trump is under SS protection due to death threats from compassionate leftists. Therefore, disrupting his event inside the venue, is illegal. Punishment would have been a fine or up to a year in prison, if Trump hadn't declined to press charges every single time, despite having the legal right to.

don't be afraid to visit, come to NY or a larger city where it is more diverse and you really won't experience too much racism (I know that is not much of a sales pitch but I am being honest). Stay away from the South, New England, and Midwest. America has its problems but so does Europe and Asia, unless you plan on never traveling abroad chances are you will end up in a country with racists.

i am a bernie sanders fan and think both trump and cruz are a disaster for both the US and the planet. BUT. it is the most difficult thing to be fair to your opponent and i intend to do that as long as i can. if some people are intentionally disturbing these events, they are playing with being thrown out. and if that happens within a pumped up crowd it probably doesn't matter whether it is a democratic or a republican event: it will get ugly. the woman in this clip is obviously refusing to leave and it seems to me she is intentionally provoking by being as slow as she possibly can. for the young man being thrown out of a programme for that foto. well, it is just a foto of him yelling at someone. i find this going too far. being ordered in and interrogated about what happened seems appropriate. right out showing him the door for the program seems weird and going too far, if that is what actually did happen. even if he had used a pic of him on TV as his FB cover, which is probably much more the motivation here and not so much him yelling at a black woman. hijacking events leads to stupid situations and people should not do that. but it will go further. it will happen the other way round and one day someone will get hurt. the turks should have a clear stand: do not hijack events of the other party. everything else will heat things further up and it is a looong time until the election for things to get out of hand. easily such incident can lead to violence, which then as easily can spread on to the streets.
