I saw on the news a woman in Bronx, New York died because she didn't want a medical bill. She was apparently jumped by some other women, days later she went to the doctor who told her, that her ankle waa sprained and she may have life threatening bloodclots, fearing the huge medical debt she went home and died days later. I don't know, I would choose debt over death anyday. But I also don't like that I live in a country where I'd have to make that decision.

For most people the flu is the worst they feel and we know it sucks but it goes away. This will help lots of folks become telecommuters. This will reverse outsourcing to other countries. This will spur a drive to better health through nutrition, rather than reliance on Rx. I even signed a petition by an Emergency Dept Doctor for offsite testing places in Ontario so as not to infect the vulnerable in our ER’s as our ER’s don’t have enough room to easily move potential cases to safe areas away from others for testing ~ I also know this from my own personal experience.
