So far, the US judicial system has shown itself to be toothless. So far, it has only been able to come up with threats (gag orders). Even his bond was reduced by an extreme percentage. It has shown itself to bo so toothless that numerous crimes have passed their statute of limitations, despite the crimes being well-known. So, hey, let's delay any and every consequence, but write what amounts to stern letters while nothing happens.

Bush administration's absolute lies about WMD in Iraq that caused many war crimes and millions of deaths. Bush and his cabinet should have faced life in prison for that treason and it's aim of self-enrichment through land grabs for oil, and yet they completely got away with it. Even Obama is a lying traitor for covering up the failure of the mission in Afghanistan... He knew it was off the rails and he directly lied to the American people about it. Biden is also now directly implicated in the internationally recognized crime of genocide for his direct support of ethnic cleansing done by Israel, and he's lying about the reasons for that while supplying the bombs and planes. Treason and war crimes are quite normal for American presidents.

Defending the Chump alone is not grounds for disbarment. Doing unethical things in Chump's defense is. So far, many of the lawyers who have done that have been disciplined, disbarred, et cetera. Cannon has done things she should, and probably could, be unseated and disbarred for.

@@iolitelight. To shed some light on the possibility of him facing prison, he actually can depending on how many of the 34 felony counts he's found guilty of. Each count carries a prison sentence of four years. Considering that he just needs to be found guilty of one charge to be out of the presidential picture plus said conviction would swing voters who said they wouldn't vote for him if he was convicted means that Trump has a hard spring season ahead of him. Of course the judge could opt out of prison time should Trump be found guilty on any of the charges, but given how disingenuous and disrespectful Trump has been through this whole process I don't think the judge will give him a break. Even then Trump doesn't deserve any more special treatment. His delay tactics are apparent and self-serving in his ultimate goal to become president again. In eleven days time, the clock will count down on Trump's freedom as his crimes come back to bite him on the ass.

Under indictment? No. That seems like a logical thing to do, but what if Trump were President? He could have his AG order the DOJ to arrest Joe Biden on trumped up charges and disqualify him from running. And he would! You are presumed innocent until the verdict is read, and it's for everyone's protection. Once someone's been criminally convicted, they should absolutely be disqualified though!
