Stormy Daniels wrapped up her testimony in the Donald Trump hush money trial in New York.
Trump’s defense attorney accused Daniels of slowly altering the details of an alleged 2006 sexual encounter with Trump, trying to convince jurors that a key prosecution witness in the former president’s hush money criminal trial cannot be believed.
Defense attorney for Trump, Susan Necheles led the continued cross-examination of Daniels.
Necheles, during questioning, pointed to a statement Daniels signed in 2018 denying an encounter with Trump ever took place. Daniels said she did not write the statement, but signed it. Daniels claimed ex-Trump attorney Michael Cohen was pushing for her to sign the statement.
Following Daniels' testimony, Judge Juan Merchan denied a second request for a mistrial, and a request from the defense to modify the gag order after Trump's team objected to parts of Daniels' testimony.
Trump called Judge Merchan "totally conflicted" during remarks following his appearance in court.
Meanwhile, the prosecution said that they do not plan to call former Playboy model Karen McDougal to testify in the trial.
The 14th day of the trial comes the same day Barron Trump, the youngest child of former President Trump, was picked by the Republican Party of Florida as one of the state’s at-large delegates to the Republican National Convention.

Hush money is not ILLEGAL. Look at the 850K that Clinton paid. And Biden paid whatever amount to Tara Beade. This is motivated to keep Trump out of office. Plain and simple.

It involves an alleged misdemeanor on which the statute of limitations has already expired, in conjunction with another alleged misdemeanor on which the statute of limitations has also expired, both part of an alleged election interference conspiracy that other courts have already said isn’t a crime. Defense knows exactly who their witnesses are. Also, it’s super easy to object in a timely manner. You stand up and say “objection!”

Why spread more lies. It’s pretty obvious that you have no idea in regards to the basics of trial. The defense is provided a list of witnesses WAY before the trial even starts. Due to Trumps actions towards witness’s, the defense did not provide the order in which the witness’s will be called to the stand. THIS IS LEGAL ! The defense had just as much time to prepare as the prosecutors.
