Welcome to part 3 of the Fairy Fulmar project from Trumpeter. In this episode I build the airframe and get it ready for paint.

Scratchbuilding the mechanism for the wheel doors must have taken some doing, especially getting them to match each other, Jamie. Could you tell us more on how you did them? 🙂

Drilled holes in the roof, then used plastic rod measured and bent to shape, all glued with extra thin. Patience, a steady hand and plenty of "Seaman's Eye"!

How long have you been using the CA for fuselage joining Jamie? I ask soley with the slight concern that it might weaken in time? I have heard some say that CA - especially when near too much sun-light - can go brittle, degrade and fail. Loving watching this come together BTW.

Not too long mate, a few years now. I'm guessing under primer, paint, weathering and varnish it'll be ok.
