Trucus arteriosis is one of the rarest congenital heart defects you will see. It requires several surgeries to correct.

I have this defect and the surgery actually involves redirecting the truncal artery to only the LV,putting a patch to close the VSD and placing a conduit to connect the RV to the pulmonary arteries.
