I used to use a book for my center support but now I cut foamboard to fit the cavity since Matt introduced me to using foamboard. It works great!

Great video Lisa! When I put my stencils on a painted canvas, I have my boyfriend cut a pice of wood that fits in the open space in the back. I'm going try that with your 1st method. That way I a soiled surface.

So cute! I think if you used the bigger canvas for pressing rhinestones direct, you'd have better luck. I feel like the wood on the canvas could have been the problem from getting a nice flat press once you got to the edges of the deer. Your so adorable. Thanks for another great video.
