this absolutely worked for my 10yr old son yesterday. he started getting into a slump vs faster kid pitch. he tried it before each at bat, he was back to being on time on his swings and barreling up the ball. thx for the video

Wow this actually explains a lot to me that I’ve been noticing throughout hitters in mlb. I’ve also noticed that players of today don’t tap the plate as much as players from back when I played in the 90s. I’ve been wondering if there was a reason hitters seem to look at their bats like you demonstrated here. Like Joc Pederson and Cody Bellinger both do it between every pitch. Another question you might be able to explain to me is why do you think hitters of today compared to hitters from the 90s don’t do all of those quick little half ass warm up swings while waiting for the pitcher to get set? Bellinger checks his bat and then instantly puts it over his shoulder with no little bat wiggles above the plate. Same with Joc. Compared to McGwire who would literally keep his bat swinging back and forth, back and forth in small little motions and wouldn’t raise his bat into hitting position until the pitcher was actually starting his motion. Idk just a few things I’ve noticed that nobody has been able to explain to me why the change in hitters of today.

I said spatial awareness does that count? Because its knowing where the ball is and where the bat is in the air so you can make contact consistently
