there's a timer, most of them just start doing improv when they run out of bit and then either laugh or lose. so he probably only prepped for the time he had

@@stick6969 The timer is only supposed to be 30 seconds, so I doubt that he only prepped for that time considering this bit was already 3 minutes long, and so was the one in the last tntl that gus was on.

There are always two sides of a story, life and relationships are messy and from the sounds of it neither of them were ready for a relationship. This doesn't justify what he did but I highly doubt that he's the only one at fault because that's rarely ever the case.

@Ewdan001 Gus was an abuser, forced his girlfriend to get an abortion she didn’t want. She ended up with an ectopic pregnancy (the egg implants itself somewhere other than the uterus, in this case her fallopian tubes) which nearly killed her, he did not believe her pain and believed she was exaggerating (it ruptured one of her fallopian tubes) and was completely unsupportive. He was emotionally/verbally/mentally abusive towards her and she spoke up about it a few days ago

@@ArloLinn According to her, he did support her afterwards but only sometimes, and would grow annoyed with her. I believe they went to therapy as well but it still doesn't fix anything he did, or make me feel any more positive towards him. It is still incredibly, incredibly messed up.

I firmly believe Gus laughs all the time on TNTL, he just never spits the water. He’s only ever been on when they use the water. I’d like to see him back, but he has to use the harmonica. Plus, I’d love to see a Hard Mode ep with the full cast AND surprise guests. And they all come out and do silly stuff together like in the old days!

He's issued an apology, mentioning that he's since been through therapy and grown a lot, and is stepping away from his podcast/live shows for the remainder of the year. How he acted wasn't okay, but I don't think he's a monster or even necessarily a bad person. He hurt someone by being cowardly and selfish in a dire time, but I think he should have the chance to show that he's matured since then.
