I use the recumbent bike for 1 hour on level 10, i do about 16 miles and burn 1400 calories (im 296 pounds) amd then i use the arm bike for 45 minutes at level 4.1, burn about 400 calories with that too, i do that 6 to 7 days a week. I do a lot of cardio, aming to lose 100+ pounds in a year. After 50 more pounds, its bodybuilding time.

My PF doesn’t have anything like this either. They don’t even have trainers anymore to show you how to work the machines or give you an idea of what kind of training you should be doing. Your videos help me more than you know.

How tall are you? I’m 5’2 and would love the recumbent or upright bike, I used to ride my bike a lot but I sold it. Any tricks to getting the west position right?

I’m a gym newbie and I don’t want to embarrass myself so I just wanted to know do they have lockers and am I suppose to wipe down the treadmill and stair stepper before and after I use them? Do I bring my one disinfecting wipes? Thank u for this video it’s good to know what cardio machines they have.

Sorry for the late response. Yes they do have lockers just bring your own lock. I personally don’t wipe down the treadmill and stair stepper however, It’s up to you. They have a spray bottle and paper towels to clean machines😊 so need to bring your own unless u want to

Im also at a planet fitness The only cardio machine i use is the treadmill. My workouts are heavy and almost 3 hours. I dont think my body could take all the cardio machines 😂

This location specifically is clean and well kept, new equipment, good space even when busy, not too crowded(during the times I go), nice/friendly staff. All that I can think of at the top of my head at this moment lol

The hours. I have a niche gym membership for the spa and special classes. But I keep PF for the late night or early am workouts when the fancy gyms are usually closed.

Using a piece of equipment especially one that is moving for a purpose it was never designed for is a recipe for injuries and in doing so you forfeit it right to compensation should you get injured using that equipment even if it breaks down due to poor maintenance. If you want to do lunges and kick backs do them the right way all this does is create sloppy form to impress ignorant people on social media . Every exercise has it's inheriant risks even when executed correctly why increase the odds of injury by doing them incorrectly?
