It is wonderful that you featured Chinese food in your video. Every time my wife and I visit Paris, we have always been impressed by how amazing and authentic the Chinese, Laotian, and Vietnamese food all is. Clearly, the French standards and expectations for high quality ingredients and execution of techniques have really elevated all kinds of cuisines. I really look forward to visiting Bao Express in our next visit. I also hope that you have an opportunity to check out some good Vietnamese, Thai, and Laotian restaurants as well. Here’s what I’ve learned about spice levels. Coming from South Asia, I have a tolerance for spiciness. When I visit Asian and Indian restaurants in Paris with my French friends and colleagues, I've noticed that their food is not as spicy as mine. I once asked a restaurant staff member why this was the case, and he explained that they generally reduce the spice levels for those not of Asian or South Asian background to ensure they enjoy the flavors of the food and don't end up hating it.

Actually the steamed Boazi have a yeasted dough (vegan: specific flour, salt, water, yeast), so it is not like a Brioche dough with diary and egg, nice video Theo ❤️

From the USA. I love Chinese food. When I was a child my parents took our family to Chinese restaurant one Sunday every month. The food looked delicious. I live in the NYC area. Where large pork buns are not commonly found. The last time I ate one ws in Honolulu Hawaii 50 years ago. My mouth was watering. Also pronounce MANGO as MAN-GO not MUN-GO.. Good luck to you Theo.

Chinese food is regional, so depending on which region’s food you are eating, it will have different flavors and spice levels. If you like spicy Asian food, look for a Chinese restaurant specializing in Szechuan food.
