Cover girl used to have a blue black mascara. It was my staple through high school and beginning of university until they discontinued it. It was navy, so it looked almost black with just a hint of blue and complimented my blue eyes really well. The only other navy I can find is Lise Watier dark blue, but its a boutique brand so is 3x more expensive.

This video popped onto my feed 3 years later LOL. Really good to know about the Great Lash. I only have that brand in black and I do like it, but really good to know about the blue - I will avoid it because I like pigment. I've just discovered Loreal's coloured mascaras. My favourite is the blue because it's the most pigmented - love it. The burgundy and purple are okay but not as pigmented. I was most excited to get the green as that's my favourite colour but sadly, it just looks black. So blue is the best. And by the way I really like the orange eyeshadow with the blue - I wouldn't have thought of that so thank you. I don't know if that was a "trend" 3 years ago when you made the video, but I still plan to try it because I don't care about trends, I just wear what I like.

This was helpful - love the orange in your hair also adding to the dimension. I kind of liked the subtly of the Great Lash, if you wanted to be a bit 'edgy' in a corporate environment, say. But the L'Oreal was beyond beautiful! Going to have to try both.

Have you tried Kiko Milano's Color Smart Blue Mascara, I swear by that? Been buying it for over 4 years now. Bought a Metallic green one to go with my new teal eyeshadow too. Costs about ten dollars in the States.

I bought the L’Oréal green mascara but when you apply it on your lashes it comes out looking black can’t see the green at all so disappointed I am going to try the blue one thank you for sharing this video ❤

Disappointing but not surprising about the great lash 😩 I feel they aren’t known as the “fun” “quirky” makeup brand so they probably toned the blue wayyy down and made it so dark to make it “wearable” for the “average” makeup look. Blah!!!!
