Hey Ryen, FIlipino here! The burger steak, which was the burger patties with the gravy and mushrooms is kind of like their version of a Loco Moco. The spaghetti is Filipino style, which yes, is supposed to be sweet! They use banana ketchup to make the sauce, and yes! There's hot dog/sausage pieces in it LOL. The palabok I'd say is for sure is an acquired taste. I love drenching it with lemon/calamansi (a filipino lime) juice, it makes it taste soo good! The chicken joy, peach mango pie, and pineapple juice are for sure my favorite items there! :)

Ryen ate so well in this vlog! From the menu of Jollibee, to Matt’s beef brisket, and ending it with tons of protein from the hotpot with some mango dessert as well! A buddy of mine actually got me a Peach Mango Pie a while back, and I definitely agree with Ryen on how it’s placed in S tier, especially when it’s still warm/hot! Fun little story, when Jollibee opened where I live, the line up would literally go out the store and into the parking lot and they had to set up tents for those outside, and it went on for like months! It was crazy haha! Will definitely use the Leg tips Ryen shared this vlog on my next leg workout! Always love the fan mail segment especially with how happy and excited Gatsby gets! What an eventful and long vlog! Absolutely love it! 😁❤️

I have been a fan of the vlogs since 2017 and it’s so crazy to see how far you’ve grown. From hitting 100k, to moving to your new apartment. I’m usually not a fan of watching vlog channels, but your energy, personality, and video quality is just so good. It’s also amazing to see how much Gatsby has grown too. His smile has never failed to put a smile on my face and is a great buddy and friend to come back to when you have bad days. I’m really excited to see what’s in store for you and your channel.

I'm Filipino and I totally get Ryen not liking the burgersteak, palabok and spaghetti - these are items specifically targeting the Filipino audience. our spaghetti does include hotdogs - which makes it uniquely Filipino - it really is more on the sweet side and also YES. for you guys it is uncommon for a fastfood joint to carry spaghetti but we love it that palabok is the fastfood version one - there are many variations of that all over the Philippines (i think the lemon juice is a substitute for calamansi - which is often the one partnered for that type of JB palabok) the burgersteak is also an acquired taste hahaha - not a lot of YTubers who reacted to tasting that liked it either hey, at least you liked what most people go to Jollibee for - main attraction - chickenjoy with gravy. and the side snack of peach mango pie

Ryen trying Jollibee makes me soooo happy! I love Chicken joy!! To the bone!! It's my childhood favorite. Me and my buddy used to eat that every time we go to Jollibee. The eat all you can beef was mouthwatering. The new gopro shots are beautiful! I feel like like watching an advertisement or a movie. Such high quality!

The only things I had from the menu was the chicken the spaghetti,gravy and peach mango pie when I first had it and I would love to have it again but the people I know don’t understand how good some of the food is like I do which is the reason why I haven’t gotten it again but I guess they don’t know what they’re missing because to me those foods and the pie were spot on and I don’t mind the spaghetti having a sweet and savory aftertaste because I am the type of person who is into eating a lot of different things together

Hi Ryen! I’m from the Philippines, living in the UK. I’ve been a fan of yours for a bit, and i tell you it’s perfectly fine not to like Jolibee that much, the food is based mostly sweet and they use ingredients that sound weird in food such as banana ketchup in spaghetti, personally i love Jolibee be we all have our own preferences and i respect that. Also, Gatsby is the best *buddy* i’ve ever seen!! 😁

I've never heard of Jollibee, but looked them up. I'm in the middle of Texas. There's one about 2.5 hrs from me, & one about 4 hrs away. The chicken looked amazing! Spicy & regular. Pretty sure the only other thing I'd try is the pineapple juice, no ice, & the peach mango pie. Mangoes 🥭 are my favorite fruit hands down. I go nuts over Thai Mango sticky rice. I'm really surprised the all u can eat wagyu was only $37 per person. That's a lot, & yes it's super thin, but I remember you spending around $100 or a little more a few years ago at the grocery store for wagyu for just a few packs. Anyways, it looked so yummy! The brisket looked good too. I'm from Texas and a buddy of mine makes the world's best brisket! Mine is good, but not like his.

The Chicken Joy and Peachmango pie are my favs at Jolibee. Try pairing the chicken with the sweet spaghetti, you might like it! My buddies and I go to Jolibee at least once a week for a quick lunch. Love your stuff Ryan!

Hey Ryen I’ll admit my first time trying Filipino spaghetti was definitely a bit of a shock. Most of my coworkers are Filipino so every time we have luncheons it’s almost always there. I’m still not quite used to it. I can understand your disappointment with the “hamburger steak”, as we would call it in Hawaii. Hard to beat our loco moco!

We’re supposed to get a Jollibee in northern VA I’m pretty excited. I loved all the bubble videos. 😍 your friends are awesome. When Gatsby was chasing them with the kite it was so cute. Gatsby is the best little buddy. 🤗
