"They feel so fast". Omg, I've been an inline skater for my entire life (since being like 5/6 yrs old, still am) and I got Moxi Ivy Jungles last year (skated only a few times on them 🤣 will get better!), and mannn are quads soooo much slower than the inlines, like what the hell it feels like I'm skating through water 😆 So I really can't imagine anything slower lol. I tracked the same route with an app, one time on inlines and the other on quads and the statistics said quads are almost exactly two times slower, take almost exactly twice the time to do my usual route and I use almost exactly twice as much energy (kcal) on quads. Same route, similar weather, conditions etc. They really are quite a workout! Also, inlines allow me to go through so much rougher of a surface - whether it's bumps, cracks etc.; when I'm passing through pebbles, they just jump out from my wheels and I don't even notice. But with quads you feel every surface difference like directly on the soles of your feet, will definitely take some time to get used to that feeling! New challenge for me 🥰

The reason why you think they’re faster is because the bunnies and the Panthers come with the marvel plate which has a longer wheel base than most skates, with a longer wheel base provides longer strides and more power, shorter wheel bases are usually better for tricks and agility. Love seeing your progress by the way keep it up! ❤️ also there are a lot of skate brands that are just as good as Moxi (some even better) so don’t give into all the hype 😉

TBH, wheels are expensive (wheels, bearings etc) i bought the moxi fundea and i looooove them for skatepark and smooth outdoors

Hi Lindsey. First of all, you are so cute 😊. There is no need for fear. I myself skate on 2 different roller skates 🛼. One are Riedell Dart ( the manufacturers of Moxi) with original setup, loosened Trucks and oem cushions. THe other ones are Decathlon with Zen’s Sonar (78a hardness) and special cushions. Bearings are ABEC9 for faster rolling. All setups are for outdoor use only. The stoppers on the Riedell and Moxi are great while adjustable. Have fun. You could be my daughter 😆. I really envy your coping with fear. I struggle with that every day and force myself to "bunny-hop". But sometimes I get a little anxiety watching your videos. I don't know if you also train basics before you go all in the trick part. If not, I would suggest adding such things like scross overs, backward skating, scissors (forward, backward), transitions, different styles of stopping and so on into your training. I struggled for a long time with trying to get them to fit my ankles right. They felt loose for a long time. I suggest playing around with how you lace them at the top until you break them in

This video pushed me over the edge to return the impalas I bought on impulse and I decided to go with the beach bunnies instead. Can’t believe the heel comes off so easily !

The $40 light up wheels from Amazon are really good for indoors or the skatepark they light up amazing but the only reason they weren't for me is because I Street skate but if you're using them for the Rams or indoors definitely get them

When you try to do your stops on your toe stops you should try transitioning like you're going to skate backwards and then skidding on your toe stops rather than trying to just turn around and land on them. Unless it's a trick you're trying to do and you're not trying to stop on your toe stops. Hopefully that makes sense That's how I started doing them and it seems a lot smoother

Be sure to put your nut against your plate and not over the toe guard because it will cause your toe stops to loosen easier and possibly come out at the worst time. just a tip!

Check out luminous wheels. A little more expensive (around 80) but they’re much better quality than you’ll find on Amazon. Less likely to break, and a good hybrid wheel.

I have the same trouble getting them to form fit my ankle/foot entirely. I thought maybe it was because they are extremely hard and stiff so I was wondering if the lolly’s weren’t like that because they do seem form fitting and they do seem to wrap around your ankle/leg perfectly. I got these but the fact that I can’t get them to form fit hurts my ankle but the lollys were too expensive 😔

Light up wheels don't tend to be hard enough for park and rink skating. They also tend to fall apart.

On the one foot stall it appears your body weight is too far back for you to lean forward/pop up onto your right toe stop and stall.

I think you should wear more modest clothing that is respectable, decent, and glorifying to the LORD. (I am not trying to condescend).
