The store is marketed towards petite girls just as Torrid is marketed towards plus size, but you don’t see us making hate videos about Torrid just because they don’t have XS…there are plenty of other stores so just don’t shop at brandy Melville! This is the only place that a lot of girls including me can find things that fit them.

Large shops are not all one size? .. also that’s strange I’m a size 0/2 and have never had an issue finding clothes anywhere. You should check pretty little thing, whitefox or urban outfitters ☺️

@@AnnabellNewman but plus size stores are only plus size on the rare occasion they have smaller sizes it only goes to an xs sometimes petite ppl need smaller then that which is why brandy and petite stores exist

it's a branding tactic, it's meant to be one size so their brand is more "exclusive" :/

I think this is good as for me and other petites it’s really hard to find clothes that will fit, and these fit really nicely. Inclusiveness doesn’t only mean XL+.

@@lynx6253 It isn’t inclusive at all. This doesn’t mean stores that cater to a specific group are bad. There are stores only for women, men,plus sized, petite girls, ect. Brandy Melville is *Not* an inclusive store for petite women because it has one size. If they catered towards petite girls and sold s, xs, xxs,etc. then nobody would care.

Yep, but those stores are branded as "plus sized" stores. BM stores are branded as "one size fits most". Tell me, who is " most" ?

@@blueclover4399 maybe because brandy melville is a swiss company, where most swiss people are smaller...bigger people r a minority, so stores for smaller people are better for buisness.

@@manuelaclaude2609 So apparently you're not hip but Brandy Melville needs no one to come defend them. The owner is racist he says that black people are less than human, compares himself to Hitler and doesn't want to hire anyone who's not white. He also likes to keep pictures of young girls in folders on his laptop, he allegedly raped one of his store managers a young female who was drugged and then told her that she wanted it even though she was passed out. Oh and he would have his favorite employees young girls undressed in front of him and try on all the clothes. There's so much more but I'm going to leave it there.

i dont understand, i am a generally smaller girl (i am still growing) and i think this store is very nice for me because its hard to find clothes that usually fit but i hate the idea of one size fits all because thats not true one size doesnt fit all. i do think they would get so much more buisness if they just added sizes.

I think it's there Model, it's silly and suggest there is one 'normal', when there is a range, but it attracts people.its what they are known for. I'm I would say a UK 12 and I got a skirt second hand from a charity shop and it works

they definitely have a lot of different sizing they have oversized and some free sizes which you just have to check if you like the fit on you and plenty of stuff that isnt clothes thats cute. I got an oversized sweatshirt it was marked as a large/xl and could probably fit up to an xl to xxl. It’s probably a lot better to size like free size for the company to save money and it’s basically up to the customer to decide if the fit is good for them most of their stuff is stretchy and imo its a lot less stressful to shop vs sizes and deciding if something is too big or too small or if the fit is weird between sizes.

Oh that’s interesting! I’m a size 0 but don’t find any issues finding clothes .. maybe try PLT, whitefox boutique etc you can get anything ☺️

@@AnnabellNewman It’s different for all girls, depends on your bust and all that. I used to shop at brandy because that was all it could fit for my no butt and no chest 😂 PLT is nice but quality clothes is always Brandy Melville

i definitely think they could have reworded the “one size fits most” to something like “tall petite” or something. although i hate the way they marketed this brand as a tall skinny person with very long legs i have a really hard time finding clothes. i usually have to size up to a large or extra large just for the legs and arms to fit me but then they are way to big in every other way. what i “like”about their brand is that the one size is meant to fit a range of people (in this case a xs, small, and medium usually” i find that all of those sizes fit me so it’s really nice to not have to worry about having to do a different size every time i want to order something. low key writing this like an essay but in conclusion i love their clothes not their brand because it is made longer and smaller for skinny tall girls to have a basic closet. thank you for listening to my rant i needed to get this off my chest. please let me know if any of what i said was hurtful that was not my intent.

Nice! It’s nice to be able to fit into clothes of all brands and sizes! I’m the same. I’m a small at pacsun, American eagle, etc. but there’s also stores where I’m XS or M. I totally understand what you’re talking about :)

it’s for one size but I think it’s good for teens and young adults who’s are at that age where they haven’t gotten thicker because my sister had a hard time finding clothes as a teen since she was tall and thin

Ive got one blue and white checkered skirt from here, I got it in a charity shop, I wouldn't buy it new, but it is adorable and I've goten compliments of how cute it is. But beyond basics I don't tend to buy new.

My size is a xs-s but I’m 13 this isn’t fair especially since some people may have underlining medical conditions that affect their weight brandy has such cute clothes and everyone should be able to shop there!

as a smaller girl, i think Brandy is more of a medium. But yeah most of the stuff isn’t worth it. It all basics, but a lot of people like that 🤷‍♀️. you should try on some of their stuff it might fit you. I’ve seen size 10 people try on the stuff and it fits perfectly so it just depends on your body.

They're one of the only places I can find stuff that actually fits me, maybe stop making ignorant comments just because you don't understand the struggles of underweight people. Plus the brand is based in Europe where people are usally slimmer.

If you don’t fit these clothes, don’t shop here and don’t throw shade. Lots of people don’t fit in what plus size stores carry, and no one hates on them. It’s that simple.

Idk why everyone hates on the sizing it fits most ppl, im a 5'2 00 and a few years ago i couldn't shop there bc most things were too big, now that oversized fit is cute i can wear maybe 1/3 of the items and have it look nice. Anything "oversized fit" is suuuper huge

I know this is targeted for the petite girlies but as a person who is medium i do find some stuff in there that fit me good, though there is some stuff their that obviously dos not fit me but I dnt mind bc if i was xxs i could imagine how hard it is for u guys to find clothes. Sometimes i just but some of the tops but for me personally never the bottoms, either way their clothes are really cute and some things are a good price their. Especially with me the sweaters and shirts ther are so cute and have such goo quality!!!!

I think brandy is overrated. There clothes are cute but really basic , so you could probably find everything there someplace else for WAY cheaper . Price is another thing like considering they only sell sizes s xs which is mostly growing teens I would think there clothes would be less expensive. Another thing is there size range or lack there of , it’s a teen store and only a teen store . Most average adults can’t shop there because of the lack of sizes and even some teens can’t fit into smalls . Considering all that it’s kinda crazy how popular the store is .
