I for one would love a followup on how you are liking that Madonna skincare. Not that I would buy it but I'm just super fucking curious. And yes that roller thing looked like it was verrrry questionable and for use somewhere else on the body. on the highlight, i would apply with a brush and then going over with a wet beauty blender. only way my dry skin likes powder highlights.

I love blending different color eyeshadows together. The technique gives such a unique touch to a look.

Love your review of this! Thank you for showing different ways to use the colors in the palette.. that will really help a lot of people who are picking it up! And I love seeing the shades on you . It gives me more of an idea of how it would look on me.

1) I caught up on Ozark because of you, you're welcome, and 2) now you've got me thinking about the eyeshadow palette more. I've been a little on the fence about it, I like A Moment and Dirty Money but I wasn't sure I would use the neutral mattes in it because I'm a cool toned bitch but I really like the way you mixed and layered the metallics; that made it seem a lot more special to me. I also like A Mauve Story but I am the type of person that is so pale that I sometimes can't find my foundation or concealer shade in brands, in fact Elcie is one of those that I can't wear because of their shade range, so I'm not sure if I would like that lipstick on me because I'm thinking it might pull to peach for my liking on my skin tone. I know Desi & Katy are hella tan/olive but I wish they would do a lip color that isn't pretty much only suited predominately for that skin tone group because I don't feel like the lipsticks are very cool/fair friendly. Still pretty awesome collection though and I like seeing a review from someone who is honest about what they like and don't like in a collab.

I trust your opinion but my wallet is scared, I've been lusting after the eyeshadow palette since the launch 😂 the design of the madonna skin care line is great, but I hate that high-end skincare almost always has fragrance which makes my skin figuratively block me and never speak to me again so that's a no from me

This is the perfect demonstration of why undertones matter: all that peachiness that you don't like? I'm pale with neutral to olive undertones and I can't get enough of the peachy/brown end of things. Cooler pinks look really artificial on me. The closest I come to MLBB in the pink range is a warm pink from Sephora that I got [mumble] years ago. I have to stay on the champagne to gold end of highlighters but, being white AF, cannot do a Trophy Wife, you know?

The final makeup look was stunning! I am so excited for the desi x katy palette! I love how you mixed the shadows I have been into combos for shadows lately!
