Like Josh is a mediator and conversationalist, Ollie is quirky, witty and a bit of a thinker. Helps them get out of their heads and hence cleaning up the content along the way.

I want to start a punk band just so I can name it "Plague Squirrels." And of course it's illegal, there are all kinds of signs warning campers not to feed the animals. The park rangers would leave a ticket on your dead, zombie squirrel gnawed body. And thus the beautiful cycle of nature continues.

In New Zealand, Apple cider has a minimum of 5% alcohol I can’t drink it because my body disagrees with carbonated alcoholic drinks hahaha
@bobjoe7508
@bobjoe7508 4 жыл бұрын
Um, no. Alcoholic cider has been brewed in the US since the British colonies. The reason why Johnny Appleseed was nicknamed as such was because he went around distributing and planting cider apple trees. The reason why hard cider isn't as well known is because it was largely wiped out by prohibition. However, it's undergoing a major comeback and most brewpubs in the US have cider varieties. I'm from Oregon and cider has pretty much always been a tradition here because we have fantastic apple trees, and Oregon was under a lot of British influence back when it was just the Oregon Territory. The myth that all cider in the US in non alcoholic is bullshit. Cider is still an incredibly popular beverage on the east coast, and there are a ton of old cideries across the country.
@sergeanttelion5767
@sergeanttelion5767 4 жыл бұрын
The Brits could use a cider refresh, most of theirs aren't very good, especially when compared to Norman or Canadian ciders. The US' revival of true cider is pretty good, and Oregon makes the best I've had from the US.

Apple Cider in the US is usually where the whole apple (skin, core and all) is juiced and the juice is then left mostly unfiltered which leaves it a bit cloudy. Apple juice is generally made from apples that are peeled, cored and it is filtered until it is pretty clear. We do have “hard ciders“ but they are labeled as such so there is a clear distinction made between regular and alcoholic varieties.

Yep. Cider in the US almost universally refers to non-fizzy non-alcoholic cloudy apple juice. We call English cider "hard cider" and if it's fizzy without alcohol it's sparkling juice.
