In this video, I'm trying and reviewing the first-ever lower-body workout that I posted here on KZfaq. I'm giving my past self advice and I'm letting you know what I would do differently today in terms of technique, form, mindset, choice of exercises, etc.

The workout:
Dynamic Warm-up
1. Leg press 4 set x 6-9 reps, 10-12 reps, 10-12 reps, 10-12 reps
2. Smith Machine Front Squat 3 set x 6-9 reps, 10-12 reps, 10-12 reps
3. Dumbbell Sumo squats 4 set x 6-9 reps, 10-12 reps, 10-12 reps, 10-12 reps
4. One-leg leg press 3 set x 6-9 reps, 10-12 reps, 10-12 reps per leg
5. Dumbbell Bulgarian split squat 3 set x 6-9 reps, 10-12 reps, 10-12 reps per leg

I think plyo (jumping) Bulgarian split squats are amazing exercise. They build explosiveness in an athlete, which is most of the time neglected in "fitness influencers" trainings where they only focusing on building strength but neglecting other training styles. Normal Bulgarians with slow and concentrated performance is AMAZING, but adding plyos is just cherry on the top.

OMG love this! More of these please! We all learn over time and this had so much helpful details. I'm guilty of using the t-bar for sumo squats just to change up from dumbbells but totally agree dumbbells are easier 😅 lysm!

Funny how we correct ourselves later down the road, I remember us girls always did the side single leg press and you're right if I were to do it now it would not feel good and probably not be comfortable on my back
