Yeah, intestines may sound strange, but actually it is not that different from any other meat. And it is cooked well to get crisp, and lots of herbs to offset meat taste. I think what gives its distinct taste is Oregano.

i dont get it when europeans are weirded out. Every european country has some kind of sausage and they eat them by the tons, its intestines too.

@@Pestbringer89 We have black pudding in England which is literally a sausage made of pigs blood. I will eat it but I'm not overly keen

I am Turkish and live in Istanbul. Haggis, offal, jellied eels, etc., are famous in your country. So shouldn't the British people be used to dishes that include various types of meat anyway? I'm vegetarian but I'm surprised you think kokoreç is strange. 😂😂😂😮

dont drink ayran with straw/pipet. if you drink it with straw/pipet its taste will be more creamy
