The 10 Characters who are of your highest priority whenever you go to Disney. Mickey > Minnie > Goofy > Pluto > Rapunzel > Aurora > Snow White > Cinderella > Donald > Merida

Great review, Deni! We stayed at the Grand Californian years ago, when my kids were younger. We didn’t do a character meal there. At WDW, we always tried to do at least one or two character meals during our trip. My 22 year old son would go crazy for those local dishes. Pluto is my favorite! Congratulations to Brian!

I really enjoy character dining. My last trip to Epcot I did character dining at Garden Grill and the interactions were some the best I’ve experienced

Love the review! We ate there November 2022. We were in the last seating for brunch and got so much character time since they do not do lunch. It was amazing! Have a safe trip!

love a good character meal! It really depends on the character interaction. Be thankful you went for brunch as the food at dinner is not as good. My daughter also ran that half marathon. Congrats to Brian!

That looks a fine place to eat, never knew it was there. I took my kids to the very first Disney Dining at Disneyland when they had Goofy’s Kitchen and it wasn’t open very long. My son is 43 now but I never did take him to another one although we went to Disneyland a lot. They put us in the other room further away and not one character came in there, then before we knew it it was time to leave. As we were getting up to leave a woman came up to ask how it was so I told her no characters came in that room. She told us to wait and got Goofy which was good because the kids were very unhappy. The food was mediocre so I’ve never done one again. From your vlog it looks like they finally figured out how to do them. I really like all your vlogs.

I think when you went to goofy’s kitchen it might have been the original one that was redeveloped into part of downtown Disney. The current goofy’s used to be a much more low key restaurant called villa verde. Kind of like storytellers.

We had dinner at Storyteller’s on our last DL trip and it was the best meal of our trip! Food was so fresh and service was awesome. We gave up our brunch reservation to try brunch at Goofy’s Kitchen and wish we hadn’t 🤣 In general we like character dining but with 4 littles, we prefer family style character dining over buffet style if we have the option. There’s always so much anxiety that some of us may miss a character!
