We dined in 2008 when our boys were little and it was still a character meal. Food was pretty much the same except I don't believe the dessert was that toffee cake, it was some kind of cobbler. The atmosphere really is fantastic! Very consistent meal and lots of things that a 3 and 5 year old would eat without putting up a fight so we liked it a lot!

It is my favorite place to eat in the MK. My family is divided My husband and one of my daughters go to Tony's and Me and my other daughter go to Liberty tree! lol

I really like Liberty Tree Tavern. Like you said it’s normal “comfort food” BUT it’s a good break from the normal park food like hamburgers and chicken strips. And it’s good food. Not spectacular, but good. We also like the Crystal Palace which is a buffet with similar food but with a more options. Plus it has the Pooh characters. Great vlog!

"Splash Mountain filled me with dread" You mean the ride designed with a big 50 foot drop at the end purposefully paced its story around hyping up that final drop? That wasn't a problem with the ride, that's the ride doing quite literally exactly what it was designed to do. Stripping the tension and suspense away is quite literally the biggest reason I don't think this version works as well; it feels more like a Disney Junior special than a true thrill ride.

just watched the opening of the Frozen Ride at Disney Sea in Japan. That is so superior to the Tiana's Bayou. There are more animatronics, better scenes and a better story which is in line with the movie. Also, they didn't take Anna and Elsa and put them in hiking outfits but left them in the beautiful outifts they had in the movie. Disney did not do Tiana justice at Disney World. It could have been so much better. You can tell that the Disney parks in Japan are not owned by the Disney Company. They are better run and new attractions are popping up and done correctly, the way Walt Disney used to do things

The story seemed easier to follow on Mickeys runaway , which is unfortunate. Tianas bayou adventure had better animatronics, though. All I'm trying to say is don,t let it ruin your entire vacation

any secret nods to the old attraction hidden in there? I am curious what they will do with the small area as you enter that allowed for small children to play in while waiting for those family members enjoying the attraction. I agree with you regarding the point you made how it is not scary for kids compared to Splash. I heard the end smells like Ben-Yays! (that's my fun spelling) Is that true? I personally find this conversion pretty lame. The storyline isn't strong and I missed some of the most important characters and the music isn't great either. I remember that I was singing Zippadeedoda for days after my visit. Although the animatronics are great, you annot miss the empty spaces and dull moments in between. I miss the old Splash already. Love your vlog though ;)

Appreciate the review! Can’t wait to ride next month!! I didn’t experience Disney World growing up. So the attachment people have to Splash Mountain, I don’t. We even remarked our last trip before it was closed, that it was extremely worn down and kinda lack luster.
