As a Cali Native I love In N Out.. but I would agree that shake shack is better overall.... BUT here's the thing- It's not fair to compare the two as they are at completely different PRICE POINTS. A double double is about 5-6 bucks, whereas as a comparable Double Shack with cheese is nearly TWICE the price at around 10 bucks. It wouldn't be fair to compare $20 sushi with $40 sushi, a $30 steak with a $60 steak, or a $30,000 car with a $60,000 car for that matter.. just saying. Hiking - Yeah i feel you Zach and I told you the the first time I had it was the last time I had it in San Fransisco. It was half fried and some parts were moist Wouk’s some crunchy bits in the meat. But In-N-Out have fresh ingredients. The reason why they don't have them on the East Coast because they keep their locations close to warehouses to keep the ingredients as fresh as possible. I think protein style is a burger without the bun and it has lettuce for the bun. Burgervillle is a burger chain in Oregon that serves all Tillamook cheese and dairy products along with deer meat patties and vice & Patty's. Their milkshake the best because they use Tillamook. They have Marion Barry milkshake❤❤❤

Im Californian, & have to say , I love in n out . The double double animal style is my jam. But the fries are NOT special at all. UNLESS you get animal fries . Animal fries from in n out are crave worthy. It’s the animal style sauce and grilled onions & melted cheese ontop of those plain fries you had and it changes the whole vibe . I get a double double animal style. With animal fries & for a drink , a pink lemon up.
