Must be an awesome feeling eating an authentic kebab from turkey 🇹🇷 the various breads look super fresh must be nice to eat it warm out of the oven 🤤 Bursa looks like a cool as place to visit will put a green marker on our turkey map thanks to you guys 😂👍

Definitely! Though we definitely went off on the red meat for a while 😂 The baking culture here is really special - Turkey takes their bread very seriously. Bursa is definitely worth a visit!

Nice walking tour around Bursa guys. A lot of walking is needed after eating kebab haha. Oh yes ends with Turkish ice cream. Looks chewy and yummy! Wow there is an outdoor arcade too, never seen one before. Good to burn some more calories LD

D tomb, d interior n exterior of d building r filled with Pietra Dura craftsmanship, embedding of precious n semi precious stones onto d white marbles, incredible. I was pleasantly surprised by d main door out of d four doors. It is flanked with d verse Al Yasin, d heart of Al Quran, Muslim holy book. D whole verse from surah Al Yasin is embedded with d black stars of India semi precious stones onto d exterior masoleum that r made out of white marble. I was left speechless. Magnificent. 😀

Wait a second. I've eaten Iskender kebap here in America several times at several restaurants and it's always something like a casserole dish with bread,cream,meat all covered in a tomato sauce. So is this just different because it's the original?

That wood-fired vertical spit to roast the lamb makes a big difference in flavor. Also not sure if the sheep’s butter is used outside of Turkey. Curious how other versions compare after having the original.

After being in Turkey for a while, would have to say simit hands down. It has a richer and more complex flavor and fresh out of the oven it is on a whole other level. Did some research and see that the dough is dipped in grape molasses.
