for the record a seattle dog is traditionally cream cheese and grilled onions, then you can get all sorts of other stuff on them but I prefer the OG

It’s called the Sultan Bakery. Just don’t look too closely because it’s definitely not the cleanest but the food is delicious!

The best diner foods always seem to be those weird places that have hybrid menus - hamburgers plus teriyaki, or maybe hamburgers plus tacos - because they get by on *good food.*

I’ve been in Seattle for almost 16 years and still don’t understand what’s ‘Seattle-style’ about cream cheese in stuff (not just hot dogs). I guess it’s better than ground up coffee beans in everything. :-) Oh, and the first Starbucks doesn’t exist anymore, so there’s just the oldest operating one (the 2nd Starbucks) at Pike Place Market. So first and oldest aren’t always the same.

First and Oldest can be entirely different, for example the First place may exist but something bad may have happened to it, making it not the Oldest anymore. and since Nature is known to be incredibly unpredictable, such events have and will continue to occur.
