I think the organically imperfect look is better than perfectly round. There's such beauty in imperfectly hand created items. You did a great job! I also enjoy your sense of humor and contagious laugh. Thanks for sharing 🙂

Thanks so much! I do agree, when something is too perfect it loses a little something. I enjoyed myself far too much to aim for perfection with this project! ☺️

How many willow sticks did it use?

I’ll be honest, I didn’t think to count them at the time 🤦🏻‍♀️ - but I am guessing there was something like 24-30 sticks in the pack. I used 16 as the upright sticks in the wooden holder, and the rest as weavers. I hope that vaguely helps! ☺️

Your video is great - thanks! Written instructions are very tricky to follow. Can you re soak the willow? I’ve taken awhile and it’s drying out. Thanks for your help

Hi Rhona, thanks so much for watching! I’m no expert (this was my first time Willow weaving) but I think you can re-soak it. I’ve not tried it, but I’ve read that it’s ok to re-soak a couple of times - though it may be best to let it thoroughly dry out before re-soaking.
