I love how people in chat are saying “KILL THEM, KILL THEM ALL” and when there’s dialogue explaining what they were planning to do after the human is defeated they’re like “shayy why would you kill them? They were gonna live a happy life, you’re so evil!!!” *ain’t that ironic?*

Harry and Larrys death was so emotional and it gave me an idea that if there was a chance to fight both skeleton bros at the end of this route, it would end the identical way.

I’m starting to think… In Undertale, all the bosses die in one hit, with the exception of Undyne and Sans. They’re the only ones that put up an actual fight. However, we’ve seen in Underswap that both Asgore (who’s in Toriel’s place) and Sans (who’s in Papyrus’s place) both had actual fights. This makes me think that both Alphys (who’s standing in for Undyne) and Papyrus (who’s standing in for Sans) will both not have actual fights, and will die in one hit. This’ll be interesting.

I’m honestly pretty excited to see “Alphys The Almighty” (what I prefer to call swap alphys version of the undying state) in the next section!

I love how crossbones changes so much from the pacifist version of him to the genocide. He’s funny and goofy in the pacifist but serious, angry, and concerned for all around him in the genocide.

I really love this games attempt to keep the character's personalities intact despite their different circumstances, I generally don't like underswap takes because they get the personalities all wrong. I especially dislike underswap sans because in their attempt to make sans more like papyrus they create an obnoxious, humorousless immature blob that lacks the charming characteristics of either sans or papyrus, but this game sidesteps that problem all together by keeping the majority of both brother's personalities intact while swapping their roles, sans is now the one going out of his way to get the attention and praise of other monsters (and being more successful) while papyrus is trying to be both supportive but also make sure his brother doesn't get into too terribly goofy situations. I thought alphys broke that trend by being something wild different but even that seems to be a ruse, she's playing an act like any well written alphys should, I imagine she's probably obsessed with European stories and imagery in this universe instead of anime and her attempts to replicate that end up making her look like a bizarre blend of a james bond villain and stroheim from jojo's, it's actually genius.

I'm mostly desensitized to these kinda runs in Undertale-related stuff, I'm just not a very emotional person when it comes to storytelling in games. But something about Harry and Larry's death actually gets me. I'm not holding back tears or anything, but something about how you kill these cartoony guys gives me a sinking feeling inside.

There is a way to spare Crossbones, but you have to let every attack run out causing them to miss, then when at the end of the fight, go to the act menu and select Backdown. There's some interesting Lore you get at the end for it.

my first playthrough i intended to do a genocide, but i felt bad from papyrus and sans' warnings, so i gave up, so my first playthrough was the secret 'middle' route between neutral and genocide. it was really heartbreaking, and when i continue the game when the rest of it comes out, i'm definitely not going to kill anymore, i'm a changed human, damn it! path of redemption!

Trick for anyone struggling against sans here:atack at 1:55:47 can be easily avoided, all you have to do is wait 'till the box will start to push you from the beggining platform you jump as high as possible, then use the dash and hold an arrow in the directon of beggining platform, that way - if you time it right (which isn't really hard) you get de facto free atack

are there plans to do the evac route? or is that being saved for a later demo/the full game.
