That is a tough and often asked question. TSC has a proud history spanning right back to the days of MSTS. It has been recently updated to be able to run on more modern gear. TSW is about six years old now I think and is based on a more modern game engine so has better more realistic graphics. The latest routes are quite impressive. TSC has a lot more DLC (approx 1500) available from Steam and many 3rd parties including quite a lot of free content. TSW has less content but there are still 85 DLC available and its growing every year. In TSC you are the train, in TSW you are the driver and can get out and experience the world. TSC is a simpler physics engine so is usually less realistic than TSW trains. If you have an old computer TSC is the go. If you have a modern rig or console (Xbox or Playstation) then TSW is the one for me.

No, the DLC will work with TSW4. You can keep TSW3 installed if you wish. You can only migrate your profile from 3 to 4 once.
