Huge shout out to Brandon Carlo there. It's hard to follow in the foots steps of Chara, but Brandon is still big and strong. Great to hear some credit there. I would imagine Begeron is also hard to separate from the puck.

The first video with Jesse and PLD completely changed my perspective of PLD. Wanting to leave two markets in less than a year makes him look like the problem. His instant bond with Jesse totally broke that perception. Great sport, funny dude.

My cousin played in the NHL for 8 seasons back in the 90's for Van,Phil & Anaheim. In that time he had only 3 goals I think but was more or less a goon. The shit that guy could do with the puck compared to an average player opened my eyes on how skilled you have to be just to be in the NHL on the lowest level.

It was super interesting to see how much smaller the circle felt when the boys got to start with the puck. NHL players need so much less space to be able to stay in control.

Nice clip. I hate when people remark about any player 'he sucks'. The worst of the hundreds of players in the NHL are still at the top of the hockey world.
