Our relay will fix your flash rate problem caused by aftermarket signal lights and/or integrated tail light. If your signal lights flash too fast or do not flash, this part is your solution! Plug and play - easy installation. The relay comes preset to 85 cycles per minute. You can alter the flash rate to make it faster or slower. If you slip off the grey cover you can access an adjuster that will enable you to change the flash rate to your liking.
This component works with the following signal configurations:
- All stock
- Stock taillight, aftermarket signals
- Integrated taillight, stock signals
- Integrated taillight, aftermarket signals.
If you aren't interested in a plug-and-play TST Flasher Relay, our TST Load Balancing Resistors are your next best choice for controlling the flash rate of your TST LED Integrated Tail Light or TST LED Turn Signals. Simply use the tap-splice connectors to wire in the resistors and you are set to go.

most likely the way the signaling system is configured to work with the dash indicator lamp. there are many bikes that were designed in the 80s and 90s that present this symptom. You will likely have to do a diode modification on the dashbindicator light connection. we make some plug and play ones for several bukes but not for the yzf600r

Maybe someone could answer me this question. I have led intergrated tail light, both front led bulbs and led blinkers in front (all leds). I have installed the led relay because of the hyperflashing, but it does not solve the problem completely. When i start motorcycle and dont turn on front headlights it works perfectly( no hyperflashing front or back) but once i turn it on it starts hyperflashing again. What should i do ?

The info you provided is not enough to go on to provide any help that is not based in speculation. If you let me know the resistance values of those resistors, and wheteher you connected the resistors in series or parallel with the lamp circuits, then I will have more that I can use to make some recommendations. It would also be helpful to know the bike, model of signal lamps used, battery voltage at bike off, at idle, at 3k rpm. -BR

Hello. I have a Suzuki GSXR1000 2023, it comes with led turn signals and no relay under seat. I changed front led to flushed ones from Aliexpress, tried a 10w resistor on both signals but they keep blinking fast. Hazard blinks normal. Any idea? Should I try a 20w or 25w resistor? Thanks.

The Suzuki parts fiche still indicates the bike having a flasher relay even in 2023 and 2024. Below is a link to our relay installation video on a 2017 model. It is possible that Suzuki hung the relay in a slightly different location in subsequent years. They still list the same part number so it will look like the one in our video. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/idFpppOcqb-6cmQ.htmlsi=mofFtRi46CcLT5Hr If you still need help with resistors after this i will need additional info like current draw of your original lamps and your replacements. -BR

In my opinion replacing a relay is superior to using reaistors. Several reasons for that were detailed in this video. We actually do not have real resources for answering you with 100% confidence because we don't have cross market specs available. From memory, i want to say it's a 4 pin. But theee is an easy wany for you to check. Pull put your relay and compare it to the two relays on our product page. Pick the one with the matching connector. -BR

I have a very uniformed question that I hope you can help with. I have an 2021 XSR900. I have replaced my turn signals all the way around with LED's. I have had an issue with blowing the signaling fuse. Its 7.5 amps. The OG bulb signals were 10w. I have installed an updated flasher relay to get rid of the hyperflash issue. My question is do I need the resistors? I know LED's draw less power but can't too low amps blow fuses? Do I need to account for that somehow (EG with resistors)?
@TSTindustries
@TSTindustries 4 ай бұрын
Having too low a current draw will not blow a fuse. It is too much current passing the fusing element in the fuse that blows it and opens the circuit. A short circuit is what sounds more plausibe as your problem. To troubleshoot I would offer the method of disconnecting all four signals that you installed, replacing the fuse, and then connecting them back in one at a time until you blow that fuse again. The trouble will be in that signal lamp connection. You can also troubleshoot with a multimeter without the need to blow additional fuses but i don't know if you own one or know how to use one. On Yamahas the front signals have three condustors. Typically i see inexperienced installers have trouble there. Are you using our signals with our harness adapters? If so we have easy to follow video installation instructions for all our equipment. -BR

First check if your OE electronics have the capability of changing the flash controller current threshold to LED type lamps. Soonce about 2010 or 2011, Ducati has an optional factory LED signal upgrade that required a little mode change in the bike's electronics to make it all work. On some models it was done through clicking settings in the dash, on some models it was done by the dealer in the ECU. It may be possible to circumvent the use of resistors altogether, but I can't guarantee your model is capable of that. If that is not an option see the next step. I can only assume that you connected your resistors correctly (in parallel), and that the connectors used are actually conducting. It would be worthwhile to check the connections and also watch my video patiently, verifying the resistors you installed are actually done as per the instructions. If you validate both points, then you are probably over the current threshold on each lamp. On some bikes, the OE electronics sense the current drawn by each lamp, and will produce a problematic symptom if the current is too high and too low. So you have to be within an upper and lower threshold for the lamps to actually operate normal. When using 6 ohm resistors, you are adding an approximate 2A draw fromm each lamp. That is a LOT of current. Typical incandescent light source signal lamps draw about 0.8A, so you see there is a pretty big difference. This can be causing your problem. You could use an ammeter to measure the amount of current your OE signals draw and then use Ohm's law to back calculate the amount of resistance your bike will need in each aftermarket signal lamp/resistor circuit, and then just use the calculated resistance value. Assuming that we are looking to draw 0.8A from each lamp circuit, the resistance value that would achieve that is 15-16 ohms. That value may be problematic to find, so I would suggest getting a 10 and 20 ohm to try.

@@ThaGnoll sounds like you need a diode mod for your bike. Typically all flashers go at the same time after changing to LEDs for a very specific wiring system. We have seen these systems on bikes like ZX7R, Ninja 250R, tw200, XR150, DR650, and others. If you tell us your bike model we can tell you if we have ypur bike specific diode mod.

Resistors...yes. But we also probably have a relay that would work. For this bike it is a bit more involved than a plug and play configuration though. It requires unpinning two of the terminals from the relay socket and placing it inside the relay connector provided with our Gen2-I relay. That bike uses a 6-slot / 5-pin relay. We currently do not make a plug and play replacement for that relay because of how rarely it is used on bikes. There is a simple method of taking two of the female spade connectors from the harness side housing and connecting them to our Gen2F relay to make it work, but that is not really a plug and play method of installation. -BR

All that effort to find a location for the resistors so they would not touch plastic or rubber and then you used plastic zip ties on them?
@TSTindustries
@TSTindustries 10 ай бұрын
1. Polyamide 6, which is the material that the zip ties are made of, has a high melting temperature so it is less likely to get damaged than plastics that bodywork is made of ( ABS, polypropylene) 2. I used zip ties to hold the ceramic body of the resistor to a steel tube. That steel is heat sinking and will wick away heat before it accumulates to any level close enough to PA6 melting temperature.
