In Chicago, they test the tornado sirens once a month. Every test, I still look outside, just to make sure I don't see anything. When I lived in Texas, there was only ever 1 siren I heard and we couldn't do anything. It was during a severe storm, and there was a tornado. Turns out you can't fit 6 people and 2 dogs into a tiny closet.

i remember that one time i heard the sirens.. i was scared my friend said, "Whats that sound o.o" My teacher said its a Tsunami siren o.o im a ghost get it right.

I heard this 2 nights ago.. God it was so scary hearing this siren in the middle of the night.. Even though it was a drill but it really scared me.. Even my hand was shaking and i have to stay few minutes to listen around if it was a drill or not..

I heard one of these at Cape Disappointment WA. I was not disappointed! Bah-dum-tss! But all jokes aside, It was not a test and it was because of an underwater volcano eruption just off the coast which caused a minor earthquake and tsunami which, thankfully, headed west. I was scared shitless when I heard sirens and saw Coast Guard helicopters flying above.

Thank god there can't be any tsunamis in my country but the regular monthly siren tests scare the shit outta me

I'm from Chile, I mean it was a terrible catastrophe, I remember as if it were the earthquake yesterday, we were evacuated to the hills closest by the tsunami, which destroyed my house. Now I live in another city, and every time there is a quake, it's a joke for me. There is nothing like the 27 of February.

When I was waiting for it to go off, I wasn't paying attention, and when it went off I got scared.

They started abruptly and i had it on full volume. My pants are dripping...
