Lets take a look at the new Cornwall Steam Railtour DLC for Train Sim World 3 West Cornwall route. I don't love it but I also don't hate it. I think its ok, check out the video to understand its features and my thoughts. Is it worth the money? Well only you can say that but for me...
Disclosure I received this DLC for free from Dovetail Games and you're looking at an early access version in this video.

Good vlog Only five carriges, that's very light although the gradients and schedule look quite demanding.

I've been hauled by Scotsman from York yrs ago. We had more than five coaches. I doubt they would run a rail tour with only five coaches, it wouldn't be economically viable. But I must remember it's a simulator...

They really should take this route all the way to Plymouth. It would be great going over the Tamar bridge. Perhaps add the Truro to Falmouth branch line as well.

Despite me really being frustrated with still no US steam and being mostly into US only, train sim world despite all the flaws has taught me I don’t hate all euro railroads anymore and this is likely one of 3 non US routes I’ll ever buy, peak Forrest and the LGV being the other two ( I own TSW4, own every American route apart from Harlem & NY & Trenton (for obvious reasons it’s beyond broken) but I really started to like these British 1-3 car commuters and for the west Cornwall to have a little commuter with the ability to dlc two separate schemes jubilees I’m all for it and the line looks really enjoyable. Is there only one single scenario on the branch tho?

Have you given Trenton a run recently? A bunch of changes were released for it.

Yes from memory only one branch scenario. Lots of community scenarios on creators club. If you like the little commuter trains I'd suggest the new one Blackpool over West Cornwall Local.

Do I absolutely need west Cornwall local to buy it or is a suggestion it says for the full experience we recommend you to purchase the west Cornwall local set as a separate purchase it says that for me because I’m on ps4 so do i literally have to buy west Cornwall local or is it a suggestion

You can buy it without West Cornwall and use the trains in Free Roam or in scenario planner on other other routes but if you want to run the scenarios and services that come with the pack then yes you will need West Coast Local.

To play this on tsw what route do u need because I have the railtour pack but I don’t appear to be able to drive the trains on peak forest or spirit of steam

They run on West Coast Local. You can put them on other routes in Scenario Planner. These aren't just a livery they're set up as separate locomotives.

You have to have both the route and the jubilee loco pack.

It's a shame you can't run it on the short branch line although you can use scenario planner to run services on it also why does it just go to truro not St Erth.

What are the dlc that includes steam era locomotives or anything related to steam era?

There's two the original Spirit of Steam Liverpool to Crewe and Peak Forest. I would recommend Peak Forest over Spirit as you get all three steam locos and a good route. There's a railtour pack for West Coast Local and if you have either Spirit or Peak they turn up in other some other recent routes as railtours.

@@alonegamer3197 now that's a very subjective question. Boston is still the one I've played the most. I quite like Harlem and SEHS along with Brighton. I also like older gear so Northern Trans Pennine is fun. Operationally Peak Forest is right up there too.
