MD won the MCN award on pure merit, and the fact that he does it old school, no big team transporters, a van and some awnings, and a close group of friends, who take time out of work, to run the team…..Lee is sadly going to miss the NW 200 and TT , just watched his latest vlog……he lost a week getting the cage fitted due to the open skin damage on the leg, they wanted it healed to prevent infection to the leg …..👍👌🇮🇲

Thank you, great update as usual. And yes, I'll keep on coming to the Isle of Man for as long as im this side of the ground. Absolutely gutted for lee, hopefully he'll make a full recovery, fingers crossed for him. ...... thanks again.

Yes, real shame for Lee having been working his way back to fitness ready for the North West just 8 weeks away. Then all is wasted with his latest crash in Spain. I was surprised to see him going to Spain without his usual help and no Ashcourt involvement. Yet he desperately needed track time.

He's in an industry full of risks and I think he feels lucky in a way, knowing this recent injury could have been a lot worse.

@@Manxmann He was actually riding a loan bike when the accident occured, he has also said "he in no way apportions blame to the suppliers of the machine", just a racing accident, thankfully on a relatively slow corner.

Great update on the best road racing event in the world! Can't wait for it to be here, be interesting to see whether we get a new lap record, and if so, whether it's Hicky, or Michael that get's it. As for the 3 wheelers, I'm wondering if Ellis & Clement will attempt to take over from the Birchall brothers. Poor Lee Johnston, he's really not had the best of luck in the last year, I'm convinced that he could be up there with the greats, if his luck held, according to his youtube channel he's trying his hardest to be fit & ready to do the TT some justice. Glad to see you looking well, and thanks for keeping the fans updated with the latest news

He is determined and has the best of medical professionals helping him, but 8-10 weeks might be a big ask. Let's wish him all the best, and let's see.

LOL he definitely has a lot of experience ridin on the roads, but he has no regard for any of the road rules :) Can you imagine being there for your license and in line with a Dunlop?

Hahha so true. MD may start out to the market with good intentions but will gradually get into it until he looks just like in that awesome photo you showed, cornering on one wheel. :)
