Nice one Ethan. As others have said, reviews of this kind for videographers are few and far between, so that was nice to see. I guess we are all looking for character lenses to avoid our footage looking like it was filmed on a 'phone. I might give this one a try. Take care!

I bought it even though I have the excellent f/1.4 and f/2.8 16mm Fujifilm XF lenses... for one reason: one focusing. I only do still photography and love hip shot style street shooting. The depth of field scale and a focus ring that stays where you put it (unlike the Fuji lenses that drift while you are walking) allows for old school candids. At f/8 and zone set via the scale from 3 feet to infinity, I can shoot at will without worrying if the focus point is on the subject.

Great short film,I recently got my copy of the same lens for MFT, and took a few shots and the quality looks great, my only problem is that I have to struggle to mount and unmount the lens on my Olympus camera, it is really tight and I'm afraid to damage the mount on my camera, it takes a few tries to even make the lens click on the camera and be able to take shots, I wonder if this is only a problem with the copy I got or if other MFT shooters have the same issue. Thanks.

would you recommend this for lets say a streaming set up? like for twitch live streaming, i dont really move around a lot
