Which one is the least mushy? Trying to find a switch for steel plate, hope it's smooth and quiet but not mushy. Thx so much!

These three have a strong correlation between mushiness and quietness. Right now, I'd recommend the KTT Silent, which has less mushiness and is quiet. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/grGgZ891v7HddKc.html

There is a 'half square' around the X stem , is thoses part make it not compatible with cherry style keycap ?

Many manufacturers such as Gateron, Kailh, and others have released BOX type switches as MX-compatible.

You won't notice a difference unless it's under special conditions like plateless.

Sorry if I asked old question. I just joined mechanical keyboard one week. I want to build the quiet one. And I look around some quiet switches. I am considering between ttc frozen and alpaca silent. Could you give me some advice? Thanks in advance 🥰🥰🥰

Unfortunately I don't have alpaca silent, but I have alpaca. So ttc frozen wobble might be better. And I heard this one is popular with ppl who love silent switches.

@@KeebTaro I have just bought some of them. I agree with you about TTC is better at wobble. In my opinion, TTC frozen is better than alpaca silent.

I understand silent switches have their usefulness, but to my ears it's almost a sin to hear a keyboard with silent switches lol Like a dog whose vocal chords have been cut.

I feel sorry for dog😢 The feeling of frozen dampers are similar to key of piano. I like it. Anyway it's difficult to show correct sound of silent switches because of small volume lol

keyboard sound (loud) is annoying though. silents sound is nice and soothing.
