Gionis has OFF blade with BH long pips and FH pips in(Tenergy 05), so has a great control with BH chops, waiting for opportunity to attack with FH

I'm a BH only chopper, makes perfect sense to me. I have a strong FH attack, and always prefer to be aggressive, and have a consistent BH chop that allows me to slow down the pace and create opportunities for attacks. Not really a "defender", because I have an attacking mindset, I just happen to LP chop from the BH.

Good observation. A lot of good choppers can chop on a rev rubber. Or, twiddle and forehand chop with the long pips. Personally I twiddle, am comfortable twiddling. I'm a twiddler. Essentially, a defender awaits mistakes from opponent rather than going for broke. He does this by patience, variation of pace, and a variation of spin. Forcing errors, or opening opportunities to counter attack.....the best defenders must also have a solid attacking game to stand a chance against the big guns..!!!

Shen l'incurvé he was twice (2010 and 2011) in the european men‘s final. you think, that this is nothing ? he won a few times the title with the german team and twice the champions league with his former team and so on. After his father‘s death 2014 he got mental problems, what is human. so he has a lot of talent and deserves respect.
