@RaishinX of course players of this level would play several characters well, but i was just wondering if Only Practice will keep using Leo/Lars and JDCR will use Ogre/Jinpachi for TTT2 competition. My question was whether they just played this team just to explore various characters or this would be their main team, although my gut feeling tells me that they were just exploring characters.

While it is a fighting game (and I especially love the fact that they implemented various styles of martial arts), keep in mind that it is partially sci-fi and is meant for people who have the tastes of things that may be currently outside of the laws of physics (lol). I understand where you're coming from, though.

no need to comment i coulda just liked but kazuya deserves a comment he is effing king of iron fist badguy/good guy....just from typing that and thnking about it kazuyas story and tekkens plot is seriously the best of all games think about this

@imania2000 Only Practice has been using nina, leo and lars since at least BR and there are vids of him playing nina. JDCR has also been seen using armor king and heihachi iirc. It's not unusual for tekken players of their caliber to play several characters well.

a little trick called low parry lol but honestly, memorize char animations for those low attacks. There's really no other way other than luck (no) or memorizing button trees (fuck no). i don't know much about Jinpachi, but grabs have an okay area of effect for sidestepping. Hope i helped

I couldn't agree more. I've been thinking Tekken should have a limited juggling system. Like say you could only do like FOUR juggles each match(not round). After that, thats it no juggling whatsoever. Your launchers will only make the opponent startle. I still play Tekken to this day, but I really hate seeing myself get juggled away by people who just keep on doing it lol... :\

I remember playing up against one of them!! Only it was in Tekken 6.

@Gonbebe Not really because the great thing about tekken is there's so many different ways to play with every character so you never know truly what every characters full potential is.

It's Japan, mate. With all the tentacles, Ogre have, they might expecting different kind of show quite soon, and still gonna cheer for them.

It will be released in September if I remember correctly.

@rtyrtyrty123123123 well, first of all, I was not the first one to bring up tiers if u look at the comments (i was merely replying back), and i dunno much about ttt2, but in tekken 6, low tiers are CLEARLY there. do you honestly think characters like Zafina and Yoshimitsu were tournament-viable characters?

@FireTrainer92 not really, he's been using hwoarang, including steve, djv, and kazuya as his sub characters in te6br long before TTT2 was released

@imania2000 That's really down to the skill of the user, the characters though all have the potential to win. This isn't like some fighting games of old where choosing a lesser favored character instantly puts you at a disadvantage.

jinpachi has some sickk moves him and kazuya are my main team they got some tag combos that can knock someone into oblivion

actually dubstep is a dance done to techno, ambience, or trance music ;)

@rtyrtyrty123123123 When tier lists are made it is automatically assumed that each character is being used to their full potential. Player skill isn't a factor in tier lists, it only takes into account which characters are generally more effective than others. That said, every character is viable, but some are much better than others.

I took to Leo quite quickly. I find her style and moveset very friendly. It's Lars I'm struggling with since I find the timings of silent entry and dynamic entry awkward.

is jinpachi with a crouch dash and doing EWGF is overpowered?

his hands overlap a lot when he's wavedashing... wavedash grabs are going to be prety good from ogre

@rtyrtyrty123123123 maybe in some local tournaments, but in high-level japan/korean tournaments, or even in evo, zafina and yoshimitsu users usually don't go far.

Strange thing is I find Ling Xiaoyu one of the easier characters to beat online. I guess I can see when she's open to attack better than most people

i already have vf5fs and tbh street fighter and KOF are the best in 2d and vf5 is best in the 3d genre as there is alot to learn

@rtyrtyrty123123123 Player strength with a character is not the same as character strength. When discussing tier lists, it comes down to the character's fundamentals and their risk/reward ratio. Example (in T6), Yoshi is a high risk/low reward character while Nina is low risk/ very high reward. You have to look at factors like damage output, speed, safeness, reliability etc. A player can utilize these factors to the fullest, but are ultimately limited by what the character is capable of.

i like Jinpachi Ki Aura lightning the best than Heihachi,jin,or kazuya just because he is a boss and he is my favorite char along with ogre and devil jin.

Did you forget about Poison? I think she's a girl but some don't. I knew from day 1 that Leo was a girl. The way she fights has a feminine quality about it and her prologue actually said she was female, some people just can't learn to read.

Its true it doesnt have a storyline, but nevertheless each game in a sense follows different story, like a different boss each game (except for Heihachi who dominatd for almost 5 games). My point is that the peak is reached, how can they make it better?

@rtyrtyrty123123123 well. i just noticed that you made another reply, (as u replied to ur own comment instead of mine), but while Eddy is mid-tier, he's no way in hell as bad as zafina and yoshimitsu. He's a viable character. Players like Misty go far with Eddy in tournaments. Yeah, all characters are serviceable in Casual matches regardless of tiers, but we're talking about tournaments here. Have you seen Dan user winning a major SSF4 tournament? I doubt it.
