"Abre Los Ojos" ("Open Your Eyes") had a Spanish actor opposite Penelope Cruz and was a big hit in Spain, and probably in Europe, so it was remade for the US, only they needed a big American box office name in the leading role. Guess who that was!

When you go back to old actors/actresses in those movies you comprehend how good they were and we didnt even realized...more so since we see a different way of acting now a days ...the amount of expressions Penelope makes so aligned with her lines and situation making it look natural and making the public immerse in the scene. 👏 It's not something random or commom, is talent.
