To be blunt, parents actually have far too much power in this country over their children's health. If your child is not vaccinated for measles, rubella, chicken pox, etc, your kids don't go to school. Period. Children have to be protected from Anti-Vaccine Bad Parents. BUT, politically, PARENTS VOTE and children DON'T. So there you are. Betcha is COVID left "smallpox"-type scarring of its survivors you'd see 99% of the Anti-Vaxxers just disappear from the political field.

Problem: Tucker can't hire her because she'd have to submit to either being vaccinated or suffer daily testing. Besides, I think you can bet the ranch that no one within breathing distance of Tucker is allowed to go unvaccinated. If nothing else, the diehard anti-vaxxers at Fox would simply be transferred far away from FNC's highly profitable "talent".

Established medical fact is the vaccine prevents neither transmitting nor contracting the virus. But you wouldn't know that because you get your "facts" from Pac-Man.

@@twntwrs Every vaccine is variant specific. The more that virus mutates, the less effective the initial vaccine, hence DELTA VARIANT. Not only do I make a living as a clinical trial research participant but I have direct contact with the same nurses and doctors that work with these vaccines whether directly or indirectly. Either way, it's very apparent you have a minimal understanding of virology and immunology to begin with and obviously either didn't read that article entirely or lacked a fundamental understanding of how vaccines work. Most of this information is capable of being found on peer reviewed medical sites directly from Google so there is no excuse. Stop getting your information from social media and propaganda news sites.

@@twntwrs No vaccine protects 100%, but the covid vaccines greatly reduce the risk of being infected and passing on the virus. Also, it’s a bad example to the children to ignore the advice of all the highly qualified specialists ( if the children are old enough to understand). Apart from this, any employer has the right to cancel a contract if his employee ( not « servant ») does not follow his instructions.

To feed into the narrative that if people don't get vaccinated they won't be able to work anymore, to them it's a the perfect "mark of the beast" a vaccination being the mark that these religious nutters will avoid at all costs. The whole point is to push people down the hole into fascism, and you need to convince them that one side is evil, and this is one way they do just that.

I had to laugh when I saw Cuomo get suspended on CNNs front page, I knew it would get wall to wall coverage on Fox News. Sure enough I went over to fox news and there it was, every talking head droning on about it barely able to contain their giddiness. I imagine it'd be similar if Tucker got canned on CNN/MSNBC to a lesser extent.

Why is the nanny a 'servant'? Isn't the nanny an 'employee'? Aren't employers allowed to fire employees who don't follow their rules and expectations? Are all nannies persons of color, or could some of them be of northern European descent? Hasn't anyone had an Irish nanny? Or a white college student for a nanny or manny?

I have had more than one employer end my position in order to save money with no notice and told I would receive two weeks of pay, if I'd sign a promise not to sue for wrongful termination! They never worried about where my next meal would come from or where I might get my next position. It was just, "Goodbye, and don't let the door hit you in the butt on your way out!"
