I wish more people understood that government use "safety" to take away our freedoms. I was listing to a popular right-wing radio talk show host the other day who also is on FOX TV nightly. He ranted for over an hour about how the government's number one duty, above and beyond all else, was to keep us safe. I was so frustrated with him, I yelled at the radio. It is foolish ideas like that that have allowed the government to take over so much of our lives and money.
