I personally prefer the Daily Wire approach of not mentioning the names of mass killers. Most people who do such horrid things are doing it for media attention, be it news media, social media, wanted posters, &c. Many times the name or pseudonym of a criminal becomes far more famous than their victims, which is dreadful.

The country has already failed and is in the process of rotting. The elites sold this country out to the highest bidders; hardly anything is produced here; millions of jobs off shored, people cannot afford housing or rent; college is unaffordable for most, and the list goes on and on and getting worse by the year - this is decay. I was born in 1964. My whole family was democrat up through the Reagan presidency. I joined the Marines in 1987 went to Desert Storm and while there I switched to Republican being a personal choice seeing how the democrats wanted to handle the war vs the Republicans. But I didn’t get politically woke till the Clinton run for president. From that point forward my entire family switched to Republican each on their own. Keep in mind this is a Texan latino family. I say we all being fairly intelligent individuals observed the differences and saw the through the democrat deceptions. When we were young and dumb we believed the lies democrats “cared” for the less fortunate of our society. They never really did anything to improve our lives, we each did that for ourselves.

I say they keep it up. They are trying to cash in on the prospect that if they keep bringing immigrants and other non-whites into the country, that those people are automatically going to be a vote for their liberal agenda. I think they may have counted the eggs before they hatched on this one. Turns out a lot of other cultures actually want to raise and have their families grow up in a safe community with little crime, something you'll be hard pressed tod find in liberal places like Chicago or Philly, etc.

There seems to be some friction with the Biden family headed by Dr. Jill, which is why the messaging is often contradictory and confused. Anyway, one thing is certain. 2 years ago I never would have imagined I would be watching Tucker Carlson. (Lifelong Democrat, currently 38.) Now, I am an independent who is going to be voting Republican. And I am in the Pacific Northwest.... So, how is that for demographics? My party went insane. And they are only getting worse. We need a seperate license for stuff such as full auto guns, or body armour. These are things that you should go through multiple checks to get imo. Also, that should be a case as to why security guards should use larger calibers imo.

The security guard should have had body armor on as well. Being an excop he should have known his pistol caliber would not penetrate, but as an excop he would know it didn't cover below the waist and a shot to the groin or upper thigh, and he would be bleeding out and going into shock in minutes.

It differs state by state. A majority of states can have people observed for up to 72 hours in extreme circumstances. It's a choppy issue because it's a fine line when it comes to our rights vs protecting the public.

The only thing that bothers me with this kind of thinking is this. Who decides who is mentally ill enough to be locked up or not own guns? And what will be considered the threshold for saying you cannot own a gun? And where would this lead to? In my opinion the government will just use things like this to take more rights from us.

We've had laws banning people who've been committed to a mental hospital from owning guns for decades now. Expanding on that with "red flag" laws is the dangerous part.
